The 20 year old came on as a substitute in the 56th minute with Young Boys already trailing 2-0 after the home side’s first half goals which came in the 6th and 40th minute.
Mayuka scored in the 84th minute to give Young Boys hope of snatching a draw but the Belinzona defence held their own to collect maximum points.
Young Boys is yet to register a win this season in the four competitive games they have played including a 2-2 midweek draw with Turkish giants Fenerbahce in the third round of UEFA Champions League qualifier, first leg.

Mayuka is going places. This is very good. I am sure he will hold down a first team place in no time.
As for the U20, this is a very big disappointment. I was reading an Egyptian blog on the Olympic tournament and it is apparent that this Malawian team wasn’t even prepared for this tournament. They even had less players at the start of the tournament as they sent some over aged players who were not allowed to play.
So there should be no excuse. Even the Egyptians I read did not even have some of their best U20 players but still recorded cricket scorelines.
Msiska should start work very very hard and hopefully he wont get too distracted shuttling between the senior and U23 team.

IT is now clear We know which way to go.Myuka and Fwayo have shown us pa Zed to succeed We need pros from EUROPE.LETS make sure We orgnise Musoda” kids to be intergrated into our youth teams and stop this nonsense of telling him to buy tickets for the kids . FIND a beta way we need those kids more than they need Zambia. We cannot afford to fail to qualify to u20 african finals and world cups. thats where we unearthed Sinkala,Sichone,Mayuka and Fwayo. Also lets sort out MBOLA case before its too late.WE started this case. Withdraw the case from FIFA and talk to the clubs concerned directly and find a way forward.Kalaba case should also be sorted out with his club and see what they can do about him.THATS WHAT GREAT KALU SHOULD BE BUSY WITH INSTEAD OF THREATENING EXECUTIVE MEMBERS

Dario Bonnetti should consider playing Justine Zulu in zambia’s holding midfield role. I just saw a video of him on youtube done by his agent. Justine is ready to play for zambia national team. His passing is excellent his size is also excellent. He is simialr to sengal’s Pap Bouba Diop. He is a powerful midfeilder he is much better that Tomas Nyirenda. Can someone in Faz suggest Justine Zulu it really pains me that we are not utilising our talent. He has being in europe long enough he is ready. Why is it thast we have to wait for these young players to make big moves into top european leagues b4 we use them. He has been in Israel long enogh selecet him for national duty he is the best holding midfielder in the country.

@KK11. I feel Chintu Kapamba has a role to play at the back. Either H.H or S.Sunzu has to give way for Chintu. Otherwise the rest of the players i agree with you.

@sibs, i see what u are saying i feel that for now yes Chintu is a starter but in 2 years the kids will have to be men. Mine above line up is purely for the near future say within 2 years.

below is a german to english translation of the game Fwayo played in today:
Coach Thorsten Fink turned his team around the same at several positions. Thus began in central defense, the two “boys” Beg Ferati and Genséric Kusunga instead of the root formation Cagdas / Abraham. The right of midfield started Fwayo Tembo, who previously had an equal part to operations came as a substitute. Front in the attack received Federico Almerares the confidence of the coach.
Almerares And it was also the one already in the second Minute for the first good scoring chance of the FCB caused. His header slipped narrowly past the post. Three more chances by Alex Frei – although even with a Direktschuss and once with a header and a dangerous header from Benjamin Huggel cemented the Basel superiority in the starting fifteen minutes.
It took until the 19th Minute, Chester, FC St. Gallen to the first significant scoring chance came. Fabian Frei, the Basel on loan in the service of FC. St. Gallen, used his opportunity, however. His namesake was in red-blue in the 20th Minutes better: Alex Frei put through in the penalty area and hit glorious in the upper right corner of the net. The guide for the Bebbi at the time was fully deserved.
In the 27th 2-0 minutes then it deserves. Gilles Yapi took a cross from Samuel Inkoom from right on the edge of the box and hit flat in the lower left corner of the net. The leadership was also deserves this amount. Towards the end of the first half, when the FCB bit from the accelerator, entered St. Gallen had a little more ball possession. An overriding goal scoring opportunities could not work out of Eastern Switzerland, however. What else was there in Basel’s defense still Kusunga who did separate the St. Galler attackers skillfully repeats the ball.
In the second half, Tembo had the first chance, he saw his shot parried by goalkeeper but Vailati. In fact, the goalkeeper was initially in the center. Franco Costanzo saved five minutes later miraculously against the onrushing Nico Abegglen.
In the wake of the FC Basel managed the game with confidence. He had much more possession and kept on making pressure on the St. Gallen goal. But what I still lacked, were really good scoring chances. 2x Tembo, Huggel and Alex Frei tried it but with long shots, but they were either too high or fell into the hands of goalie Germano Vailati. Only the St. Galler Calabro could substitute with his header provide temporary relief. Bayern goalkeeper Costanzo but was good and could hold the ball loose.
The FCB was no longer with the same conviction in the matter, as in the first half. Not least of which testified to the many turnovers, which contributed to the red and blue. The harmless St. Gallen were fortunately no profit out of it.
In the 81st Minutes gone all doubt that the FCB could not win this game. Federico Almerares justified the confidence of the coach and posted to head the 3-0. The slope as already provided in the 2-0 Samuel Inkoom.
The FCB was able to win the championship lead, thanks to the claim and, at the maximum points from three games, two points ahead of the FC Lucerne. I’ll continue next Wednesday, 3rd August, at 19:45 clock, with the return match in the Champions League third qualifying round against Hungarian representative Debrecen VSC

Good job to Mayuka. He deserve to be where he is. Zanaco, also has done great job by finishing their business at home. Pressure was on Enyimba . We hope you will do the same in the group stage by making sure you bury the opponents at home. This is the same Lesson that Zambia National Team must learn- never lose points at home. ZESCO made the same mistakes last year when they could not collect maximum points at home.

What is the deal with the no dual citizenship. Zambia needs to be flexible otherwise you are eliminating the chance to use skills and manpower of all Zambians. How about those born in Zambia with one foreign parent. A lot of children born in zambia from refugeees who lived from Zimbabwe (then Rhodesia), Namibia, South africa, even from countries far flung like somalia, Rwanda, DRC, and those who came willingly like the senegalese, malians, etc….the possibility must be there to reclaim Zambian citizenship without necessarily renouncing current natinonality..this will help ameriotrate bottlenecks with immigration and hlp with making it possibility for zambia to be a beneficiary to skilled personnel were this applies….look at Lamisha Musonda, or the Malian -zambian playing for Fus Rabat..

Lucky Msiska with due respect for his past, does not seem like the many years he spent coaching those boys in Europe is going to help him as he now has a national team to coach,i feel he should have started may be as an assistant to someone rather than just throwing him into the war front. So far its 4 games under him and he has won 1,drawn 1 and lost 2 consecutive games.I hope this is not a sign of things to come??
