Probable line up: Davy Kaumbwa-Jimmy Chisenga, Charles Siyingwa, Dennis Banda, Chongo Chirwa- Floyd Phiri, Thomas Nyirenda, Potipher Zulu-Kennedy Mudenda- Linekar Mwikisa, Makundika Sakala
Subs: Raja Kola, Jacob Banda- Daudi Musekwa, Bronsman Chama, Chongo Mwape, Maunga Kabuku, Dube Phiri, Luka Lungu
Follow the match…

Ba Zamfoot I don’t want to sound unappreciative, but are we actually going to get any updates. It should be half time by now, how about a short analysis of the game. A starting lineup would also be nice.
James Zulu on Wed, 2nd Jun 2010 3:54 PM
@ matafwali, my sentiments exactly. From Zim they go to TZ…What is wrong us kanshi? We are way better oponent than the countries Braxil is playing…ok chanibaba

I think zamfoot systematic in live game updates. We cant have such a situation, where there no live situational updates of a live game.its a shame
Ba Muzo on Wed, 2nd Jun 2010 4:29 PM
About 15 minutes to go in the Zambia-Angola training match. A 50/50 see saw affair. New Nkwazi call-up Mwepya Kasongo, a terriffic wing terror has impressed on his debut. Kasongo was impressed on coach Lucky Msiska after the wonder boy tore Zanaco to shreds at Edwin Imboela last Saturday.
‘Gary’ Lineker Mwiikisa has also played a brilliant game.
Anonymous on Wed, 2nd Jun 2010 4:30 PM
Angola looking a better side

Latest scores ba zamfoot for zambia v angola
Ba Muzo on Wed, 2nd Jun 2010 4:34 PM
Still 0-0 the Zambia CHAN squad get a corner. Brilliant move started by Jimmy Chisenga who teed up Kasongo who is dazzling opn the wing. Chirwa rerceived an excellent pass from Kasongo and fed Yonah Mwango who unleashed. The Angola keeper equal to the occasion finger tipped the ball for a corner.
Brilliant save. Good pressure Zambia. Wasted corner though.
logic on Wed, 2nd Jun 2010 4:34 PM
Without a decent stadium, expecting any Decent Worldcup bound time to play in Zambia is wishful thinking. However, if FAZ had their stuff together, we could have played a couple of games with teams that are already in SA. The World cup has come and will go without us benefitting anything because we simply can’t plan ahead.
Ba Muzo on Wed, 2nd Jun 2010 4:37 PM
Two quick corners in succession for Zambia in the closing stages all coming to nought. The Independence Stadium open wing is almost packed to its capacity. Looks like a barren 0-0 dtraw will be the fairer result here. The crowd uis urging on the lads to get thje winner!
PULU on Wed, 2nd Jun 2010 4:38 PM
@Shimbe m glad u r oso concernd bcoz we dont seem2c the conection btwn choosin the best team and getn the best resuilts

zambia has been threatening. Mwepya failed a sitter.
spaks on Wed, 2nd Jun 2010 4:45 PM
this brings back memories GATE D you cant happy. Liniker Mwikisa is a marvel as maku puts us ahead
chamz on Wed, 2nd Jun 2010 4:49 PM
People you like complaining, we just played Chile. Zim paid Brazil US$2 million, while Tanzania, US$2.5 million. Saw they are not in Zim for free. But I must agree, even if they had to come, we don’t have stadiums.
Ba Muzo on Wed, 2nd Jun 2010 4:50 PM
Makundika Sakala scores to give Zambia a 1-0 lead.
shimbe on Wed, 2nd Jun 2010 4:53 PM

Trully zambian on Wed, 2nd Jun 2010 4:54 PM

Guys, give us a taste of the atmosphere in the stadium. Is it like the old days when Lusaka used to experience earth tremors when Zambia was playing?
EJ on Wed, 2nd Jun 2010 5:00 PM
@muzo
goodnews for zambia but we need more goals
Steven on Wed, 2nd Jun 2010 5:04 PM
Any pictures from Chile? or even today’s game? By the way, how are Zambia in all white? I thought the two new strips were either copper or the green? I guess its just a training friendly.
Zamfoot on Wed, 2nd Jun 2010 5:08 PM
mwepya’s square pass was meant was by makundika who tapped it in. Its all zambia dominating.

Sorry gents the connection was a little bit bad, well well well, what can i say Independence stadium was a great memory, Gate D was filled to capacity and Renard didnt know what hit him, i can now safely say that as long as we dont play from there we will go no where, the fans were amazing the place was like the old days, more to come gents Zamfoot took photos and will be uploaded soon
Matafwali on Wed, 2nd Jun 2010 6:34 PM
Congratulations to the boys. I hope they will figure out their scoring woes by the weekend. They should not leave it to late to score as that will only build up South Africa’s confidence as the game wears on.

@ZAMFOOT. Thanks Zamfoot and Muzo for the updates. I’m sorry if I sounded a bit ungrateful just that when you said live text I was expecting at least some information to be flowing through.. not a play by play. Either way definately appreciate the hard work you guys put into this site.

was this a friendly?
Positive thinking ..aka Awe on Wed, 2nd Jun 2010 8:17 PM
Well done Zambia, I wish our front line could improve. Scoring goals has been such an issue of late… hopefully Mayuka, Jacob and maybe Fwayo can sort that out in the main team. Does anyone have info on Makundika Sakala??
