Zesco United’s Orange CAF Confederations Cup opponent Warri Wolves of Nigeria has arrived in the country ahead of this Saturday’s clash at Kitwe’s Arthur Davies Stadium.

And Orange CAF Champions League representative Zanaco fc jetted out of the country at midday to Abidjan, Ivory Coast were they will face ASEC Mimosa this weekend.

Zanaco who carry a slender 1-0 are without International full back cum midfielder Thomas Nyirenda but welcome back the services of Triniry Chilainshi who missed the first leg due to suspension. Nyirenda has failed to pass a fitness test.

Despite losing 3-0 in Nigeria in the first leg, Zesco United committee member Moffat Sakala who confirmed Wolves’ arrival to Zambianfootball.net in an interview from Ndola is confident ‘Zega.. Team Ya Ziko’ will overturn the deficit.

“I am confident we will win this match. We are capable of scoring four goals at home and what we need are the fans to cheer us,” the confident Sakala said.

Sakala added that squad is injury free except for Nyambe Mulenga.

Zesco need to score four answered goals to progress while Zanaco just have to avoid a minimum of 2-0 loss to advance to the next round.

Elsewhere in Africa, Signs Chibambo will be in action for Heartland when they travel to Cameroon. Chibambo came off the bench to score a brace in the first leg as the two teams drew 2-2.

South Africa’s only representative in the second tier continental club championship, Moroka Swallows will be banking heavily on former Bafana Bafana marksman Siyabonga Nomvete against CAPS United of Zimbabwe. Collins Mbesuma should get some game time. Fwayo Tembo will not be action as he is not registered and will have to watch from the stands as Etoile du Sahel try to overturn a 1-0 loss to AS Niger. Etoile will be at home.

And finally all eyes will be in Lubumbashi were Champions TP Mazembe need to beat APR of Rwanda. The quartet of Given Singuluma, Hichani Himonde, Stoppila Sunzu and Sebastian Mwansa are expected to start.

Emmanuel Mbola could surprisingly make his debut despite his International Transfer Certificate still in Armenia and his case is still pending at FIFA because of the ties of Mazembe owner Moise Katumbi owner with CAF officials.

    Zanaco have a mountain to climb. If they dont up their game, we can expect a real bashing. The Ivorians were miles ahead of Zanaco in all aspects of the game in the first leg. I really hope that Zanaco have worked on their game.

    Kalu supporters, WERE ARE YOUUUUU????????

    Awe sure this FAZ admin is the biggest joke in the history of football jokes. Chaipa what you did was also dodgy but come clean and reveal the crap thats going on in FAZ. Although you are also part of the problem by getting involved in dodgy dealings be the bigger man and be part of the solution by bringing to the fore the nonsense at FAZ so the next crop dont repeat it and also we learn how to make sure it doesn’t hapen again.

    I am writing a “KALU and Company must go” song. Will sing it at the top of my voice when Zambia meets SA u23 for CHAN.

    For sure, Zesco’s failure to score even a goal away will haunt them ! lets face it , the challenge is big & we should not run away from it; can Zesco play and score goals while the opponents just sit back without getting a crucial away goal? It can be done but it will really require right approach and right state of mind by the players . Go Zanaco and Zesco, we are behind you .

    Ba Zesco have their hands full despite this being a home game for them. That was a rather disappointing display on their part, conceding three goals in the second half. But, it ain’t over ’til the fat lady sings…so, all the best gentelmen.

    Zanaco, too bad, you did not score that all important second goal…but take heart from the successes of the CHAN team and Zesco in last years tournament. You should be able to sail through.

    I sure hope Mbola will not feature for TP Mazembe until his issues are sorted out by FIFA. Just keep in mind the Egyptian goal keeper, El Hadari!

    I took 1 st home loans when I was 20 and this aided me very much. Nevertheless, I require the student loan again.

    @Mumba
    @Matafwali

    ZESCO should get some inspiration from Red Arrows though they did not go through managed to put in 3 goals past that Egyptian team. Anything is possible in football
