Zesco United’s Orange CAF Confederations Cup opponent Warri Wolves of Nigeria has arrived in the country ahead of this Saturday’s clash at Kitwe’s Arthur Davies Stadium.
And Orange CAF Champions League representative Zanaco fc jetted out of the country at midday to Abidjan, Ivory Coast were they will face ASEC Mimosa this weekend.
Zanaco who carry a slender 1-0 are without International full back cum midfielder Thomas Nyirenda but welcome back the services of Triniry Chilainshi who missed the first leg due to suspension. Nyirenda has failed to pass a fitness test.
Despite losing 3-0 in Nigeria in the first leg, Zesco United committee member Moffat Sakala who confirmed Wolves’ arrival to Zambianfootball.net in an interview from Ndola is confident ‘Zega.. Team Ya Ziko’ will overturn the deficit.
“I am confident we will win this match. We are capable of scoring four goals at home and what we need are the fans to cheer us,” the confident Sakala said.

Zambia National under-17 soccer team will face their Ugandan counterparts in the Preliminary round of the Rwanda 2011 African Youth Championship.
The Aggrey Chiyangi coached lads will play away in the first leg on the weekend April 10-11 before hosting the Junior Cranes a fortnight later in the return leg.
“Over the last two months, the U17 technical team has been busy identifying talents from across the country. This exercise culminated in a match between the Lusaka based U17 boys and their counterparts from Eastern Province who they beat 8-0 in a training/exhibition match at the Woodlands Stadium on Youth Day.This exercise will continue because we have many young talents who can form part of the U17 and U20 teams,” read a statement issued by FAZ earlier today.
This will be the second time Chiyangi who is now in-charge of premier league leaders Green Buffaloes will be guiding the young Chipolopolo Boys in the qualifiers.

In the pic to the left, young boys going through their paces as they try to realise their dream of one day playing for the Chipolopolo at a 40, 000 seater ultra modern Ndola Stadium.
The Ndola Stadium is being built by the Chinese and after works are completed it will handed to the government. The Chinese have agreed to built stadia in Lusaka and Livingstone.
It is expected to host the national team's international fixtures when completed.
Ndola based premier league sides Zesco United and Forest Rangers might be playing their home games there. Division one side Ndola United which the 'history and most fans' in the Copperbelt HQ city might also move to the Stadium.
