Congratulations to Mbola and Mulenga. But like others here, I find it puzzling that Kalaba did not make the team! His influence on the team can clearly be seen in the Nigeria game although Njobvu accounted for himself very well.

On the local coaches. How possible is it to have two or three local coaches attached to high profile sides for multiple seasons and have the government through FAZ pay the coaches' salaries? Clearly, as pointed out in several prior postings, our coaches are still lacking from a technical stand point and also from an organizational stand point, one strength I would say HR has over our local coaches.

All that every top player needs is to feel appreciated by the team, to be given chance to play week in week out, to be appreciated by the fans as well. Kalaba didnt seem to get much game time at his loan club, so I think its okay for him to get a club which wants to use him.

He will never be seen by that top club if he continued being on the bench.
