The cocky Nigerians should also remember not only the 1970 5-1 bashing, but that they failed to qualify for the 1986 Nations Cup in Egypt because Zambia beat them 1-0 , when Jack’african pele’ Chanda unleashed a scorcher..that according to Dennis Liwewe…and I was in zimbabwe listening to the commentary….”Chanda beat Rufai hands down”..this was after the same Nigeria team failed to beat Zambia in Nigeria..0-0 scoreline….I just dusted another record…remember Libya 1982 Africa Cup..when the KKXI(Zambia) thrashed Nigeria 3-0. And those doubters must also revisit the day when Cameroon saw hell in Lusaka when when Michael Chabala scored a hattrick against an Indomitbale Lions team that had just come from a rather succesful 1982 world Cup..remember Zambia demolishing Cameroon 4-1 in Lusaka, and drawing them 1-1 in Yaounde?? ladies and gents..5-1 aggregate.
Where is my Zambia??? Let us not continue to be the laughing stock of people who forget history and gnash their their teeth..they are a nothing ..these people…Remind them of the Italian Job….when Zambia manhandled the italian olympic team in Seoul..4-1….come on ZAMBIA!!!!!

@Seen from afar I see where u are coming from, but u can not say every game we have won is 4-3-3, thats not a true statement. The other thing is we have not made it to the world cup or won AFCON using this formation so maybe a change is in order.

HR should still use Thomas Nyirenda and Kampamba in central defence in the friendly against South Korea and guige them further.

Kk11, the 442 has won us every game we won! Every game we lost we played 433. I’m not trying to rock the boat, but the truth is there i’m afraid. I would love to say it’s working but i can’t see that it is. Therefore we must address this. It’s not about being able to adapt, it’s about doing things that are suitable for us to be successful.

I don’t know what more to say, Whisper, Justice and i have talking about this for awhile and the thing is, we have yet to be proven wrong. I don’t know what more to say, but i hope people are aware. I’ll leave this topic alone because all i want to do is support. If there is an issue, then i’ll ask questions.. I still have the utmost confidence in the guys!

Everyone is talking formation, what has 4-4-2 won us? Everyone says our players are better suited for the 4-3-3, so we cant adapt to new formations? Then u wonder why players fail abroad?? You guys need to stop sticking to one thing and change or adapt to new situations. Renard is the coach he has his formations, going forward you guys should tell FAZ to add the question of formations in their interview process, they should HIGHLIGHT THE FACT THAT ZAMBIAN PLAYERS ARE ONLY ADEPT TO THE 4-4-2…….

Great an mighty is our Chipolopolo, for me i only have one national soccer team – Chipolopolo, win or lose it will always be my team and will always get my highest expecation and support to achieve … i have always refused to be hopeless no matter the situation no matter the team selection, no matter the FAZ team in place … am not a soccer cadre but a patriotic Zambian Soccer Fan … always Chipolopolo at heart … and all that is Zambian … GO Zambia you can do it even better …. We’ve been talking about the formations for along time here, HR is yet to prove that his formation can yield any positive results other than neutral results. Going back through the games gentleman the stark evidence is there. I would urge HR to think carefully (no doubt he does), i do understand there are positives in using it and i don’t doubt the guys can do it. But, are we trying too hard to be something we are not? Anybody in Zambia can tell you what jersey number plays what position on the field and what their role is, and those “traditional” systems are ingrained in players from an early age i’m sure. Are we trying too hard to be something we are not, because i would rather we are comfortable in our roles that we know inside out, because that’s half the battle… George is quoted as saying, we still need to work on coordination. If we aren’t 100% confident at this stage, isn’t it too late?

Demesi Two World Cups ago South Korea reached the semi-finals of the World Cup. They are a very good side and probably the best in Asia currently. They may not have one or two of their best players during this African tour but the are still a good side.I can assure you Ivory Coast can have a tough time playing these boys. Please re-check your facts.
Research well, sibs, S.Korea is a very good team.In fact there style of play is similar to that of Tunisia as they also do alot of running through the wings.It will definitely be a good training for Zambia.
