All views respected, but like Ba Justice says if you are good you are good regardless of which country you come from. Charles was so good that Anderlecht (Power) graabed him from Cercle Brugge (Nkwazi) even before Kalu who went earlier had his prowess noticed. Charlie Cool it is said, was also on the radar of big international teams. Mayuka’s peers at Canada 2007 Pique, Ever Benega, Kun Aguero, Sanchez (Chile), Diego Capel etc are busy shining. Bearing in mind that even the 18 years as in age could be an understatement!!
</blockquote>
Ba Uncle Bobs there's some truth in your statement "if you are good you are good", but in Charles Musonda's days Zambia was a power house. Charlie cool had a lot of players to look up to. If I was a young talented player in a team were I had to pave way for players like Jacob Mulenga, I don't know how that would help me with my self esteem. I have noting personal against Jacob Mulenga, but I've said this a number of times on this blog that if He does not improve his ball control skills then He is not going to make an impact on the game. I said this even before the scoring drought.

Im sure for any player to succeed,they must be disciplined,they should practice abstinence from things that destroy the Body and Mind.A Football Career is too short for one to become pompous.We have alot of examples in Zambia of Players who have been affected by fame,Im sure Mayuka will remain focused not to engage in these activities,this is also the same with Mbola and all the young Players.You cannot mix drinking and football,No coz we are different to the Europeans who even if they drink heavily,they always think of their career too.

you are the same pipo if mayuka fails to deliver,,,,,,this is international level look at singuluma first then you will see he was CHAN hero renard gave him chance what happened after,,,,,,,,
</blockquote>
That's exactly my point....It is easy to call the shots from the stands. This is because you wont take any blame if the team fails. Today it is Mayuka, earlier on it was Fwayo, Mbesuma, Chamanga, Singuluma, Sinkala, Enoch Sakala, as soon as these guys fail We turn our back on them. Don't get carried away a one time performance. It is consistency We are looking for. The only player that deserves a place in the team is Clifford Mulenga for all I know his been the most consistent player at his club. Don't let one fluke deceive you.

Bane this is only his first start, lets see if He can replicate this for a while. We are too quick to compare our players to others. Ask yourself this, at what level are the other young players competing? Is any of these players in Israel? or they are in better leagues. I have not seen anything special about Mayuka (yet). Ronaldhno played against bane Sinkala but can you surely compare him to any of our players shubwa. Sinkala is in the second division as We speak, Ronaldinho has been playing for bigger clubs in competitive leagues after that under 20 WC. It takes a long time for our players to mature, psychologically/mentally. I personally think it has a lot to do with Zambia's ratings. I'm pretty sure if you come from a country like Brazil, Ivory Coast etc you'll have a big enough ego to believe you can do it too. Ma Zambian players are all cowards, nobody wants to stet up and aim high.

Football knows no age, Charles Musonda was 17/18 when he started playing regulary for Anderlect and Zambia. If they good enough through them in the thick. Is Mbola not 16 and yet he plays all the time. If one is good he has to play
