Winza Sichali :James chamanga has been drafted back into the CECAFA squad. According to George Lwandamina, he advised Renard to include him as leaving him out would have meant him losing fitness in the compund. FAZ will make arrangements for him to connect from Kenya to China. His team wanted him to be there for pre-season training by 2nd December.
I think this is a good idea as it adds sharpness to our striking force. I just dont think that Sunzu Jnr, Enock Sakala and company can meet our expectations. I just hope FAZ have spoken to Chamanga’s club about this arrangement as that would be good management practice

Sunzu Jr is good player given more game time he can deliver mark my words.

Yasmac, lwe need to move on and forget about also rans!!! But i follow your thread that was just raising our hairs and not necessarily suggestive. Let's do with what we have as even our so called best players are way below Eto,Drogba standards. But on the field of play, abaiche like Mbola tabatina, but i hear kwaliba bamo abatutuma (our aim should be to psyche these)

Mr Zambia :
LOOK AT THE FOLLOWING BWANAS!! BOSTWANA HAS DONE SO MUCH BUT LOOK AT US!
“As the excitement grows in South Africa itself ahead of the 2010 World Cup, many other countries in the southern African region have high expectations that they too will benefit from the tournament.
Countries across the region have made huge investments in the hope that large numbers of fans travelling to watch the World Cup will decide to visit them too.
They are also optimistic that they will attract participating teams to prepare in their country before they travel to South Africa for the tournament.
In the capital of Botswana, Gaborone, a new airport is being constructed next to the one being presently used.
Two new football stadiums are being built, and three stadiums are being upgraded.
Lodges have been refurbished in the north of the country, which has some of Africa’s best locations for wildlife viewing,
“This country is hoping to benefit a lot from the World Cup, we are expecting an influx of tourists from England,” sports journalist Tshepo Bogosing told BBC Sport.
“Botswana has been courting the England team for the past few years to come and camp here before the tournament.
“We know that they are now likely to go to Rustenberg [in South Africa], but it’s a 90-minute drive so there’s still a possibility that England supporters will come to Botswana.”
However, England fans are better-known for spending time drinking in bars before a match rather than going on game-viewing trips. Mozambique are hopeful that Portugal and Brazil will be among the teams preparing in their country ahead of the World Cup.
Government is expecting between 20,000 and 30,000 tourists to visit the country, and arrangements are being made for visa regulations to be relaxed.
Pinto Barros, a board member of the Mozambique Football Federation, says that the country considers itself a leading destination for teams and tourists in 2010.
“We are building a new national stadium, we have beautiful beaches, and we are a peaceful country.
“Portugal must come here, they are our brother, and Brazil too. And other countries – why not?”
Other countries with high expectations are Zimbabwe, Zambia, Swaziland and Namibia.
The chief executive of the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority, Karikoga Kaseke admits that it will not be possible to recoup the investment made in infrastructure in the country in the short term.
Rather, the World Cup is the focal point of a major drive to revive tourism in a country that has poor perceptions internationally.
“Our objective is to rebuild the image of this country through 2010, and you can’t put a monetary value on that,” he said.
The 2010 tournament has been touted as Africa’s World Cup, but do the hosts really owe anything to the rest of the region?
The president of the Southern African football body Cosafa, Suketu Patel, says that countries in the region must not be over-optimistic.
“There are opportunities from tourism and teams preparing in the region, but this is not a very long-term thing,” he told BBC Sport.
“I think that the benefit that we can get as a zone is for countries to make themselves known for the potential that they have – either as an investment destination, a tourism destination, or as a sporting destination.”
Teams are likely to decide on their bases ahead of the World Cup in the coming weeks.
That will determine to some extent where their fans will be heading, should they decide to venture beyond South Africa itself,
Then we will have an idea then as to who will be the winners and losers among the countries in southern Africa that are clamouring for benefits from 2010.

Mr Zambia cool down b4 u suffer frm BP these guys are greed whn they c us crushng down heavly thts their happness,i hear tht evn zimbabwe whch was under sanctions is doing better than us,atleast zimbabwe within a shortest time offered a grt surprise to the world by hosting a well organised COSAFA tournament, mean while us we cnt evn help ths Chingangu fight be staged, shame.

4.IAN BAKALA (PRIMEIRO DE AGOSTO)-ANGOLA
5.HACHILENSA(CARARA KICKS F.C)-SOUTH AFRICA

Not Nketani and Billy Mwanza the 5-1 bashing by Cameroon has been haunting me. Yasmac I think its clear that our players all have short careers so I doubt that any of the guys mentioned above are in good form.
