Bravo, ZESCO, go ahead and scout for real talent who can help the club progress in next years champions league qualifiers. Buying quality foreign players is now a trend the world over. Personally i dont see the talent that people keep talking about here in Zambia. I watch local league soccer week in week out. So ZESCO are right to look elsewhere.

I think Zesco are only following what is globally happening in football in order to remain competitive. Football is global and talent identification is following on such a scale. You can buy a player from anywhere if you can afford him. This brings in competition and helps you check the standards that you should be at in order to compete globally ie it provides a benchmark. Look at all the teams doing well even in the African Champions league - they have bought foreign players to compete with their own. This stimulates development. TP Mazembe have our own Given and they are in the finals, Heartland have our own Signs Chibambo and they are also in the finals. El Merreikh have had our Zacharia Simukonda, Elijah Tana etc. If you look at the Arabs, you cant even count the foreign players. Unfortunately, that is the way to go if you want to compete against the likes of such teams. Good initiative by ZEGA - They keep on breaking new ground, are innovative and futuristic in their planning.

Dinamo :If ZESCO have the money they should just arrange with FAZ and sponsor an inter provincial football tourney for amateur players.Coaches in districts can be used to pick players for provincial teams and a team of coaches can be made to assist in selecting players for the final teams.Am sure there is a Malaza languishing in some rural area who can be discovered in such a tournament.I always say that had Nkana gone to Kafue ealier than December 1991 ,Kelvin Mutale could have been at the AFCON in Dakar Senegal but we never knew that there was a Malaza at some place called Estates in Kafue.

Rightly said my Man,an Inter-Provincial league will be a revelation to this nation.Remember that Mbola and Nyambe are from Rural Zambia,Im sure we can have wonderful things here.

Too many football politics and i think that is the main problem in zambian football politizing each other, when you see the problems nkana are having, they are just too many but with the zeal of the players they are playing their lungs out just have a point, but the excutive they always let them down ,coz how can be getting their salaries 2 weeks after monthend? any way ni kalampa for life ,despite all these hurdles we are bouncing back.

Ba Game 12
Good point on starting from scratch but only if we stop lauding players past their own best as stabilising a team that has lost. How can there be stability in a loss. Naifwe fwema soccer fans tuchinje promoting indespensability.

Augustine Mukoka has raised pertinent issues that I am surprised none of us is commenting on e.g. Having only the Barclays Cup with BP silently pulling out and ZB only footing coach's emoluments (if I am not mistaken). Guys I am worried about the game honestly. Personally I will take it up with FAZ on how we can help from our armchairs-let's take the NAPSA declaration(Thumbs up Ba Muzo and Fred)
