As i’m not disrespecting you any suggestions on an inspiring line up?

instead of depressing players that will start the game why not lecture them in a way that suggests that a challenge has been posed. Mind you these guys follow Zamfoot and do not such remarks a day b4 a big game. Take each game as it comes and let renard do his job. He is the coach after all and what he says goes. VIVA soccer fans.

This looks like a 4-3-3 formation to me, but do we have players for such a system. Maybe Zambia has now become Barcelona?? A 4-4-2 formation could have been better.

Anyway it is up to the HR

  • Justice Kafusha wrote on 9 October, 2009, 22:41

Egypt will have 4 at the back, 5 in midfield and 1 in front (4-5-1). This means they will take control of the midfield. The team that will win 2moro is the team that will control the midfield.

If I were to have chosen the lineup it would have looked like this

    _______________________Mweene_________________

    Muzo___________Chintu_________Banda_________Mbola

    Saku________Chansa__________Sinkala__________Kalaba

    ________________Chris_________Mbesuma________

if you nullify Egypt midfield, the battle is half won. you have to suffocate their midfield players and don’t give them time on the ball.
Algeria managed to do that on the 2nd half Egypt were found wanting.

WHAT HAPPENED TO MISHECK LUNGU ?

  • Richie wrote on 10 October, 2009, 2:15

Gentlemen;abena HR has got all the best that zambia can offer now in his squad & if the probable starting eleven is anything to go by,the midfield looks shaky, the strength of egypt is mainly in that area so the 1st 15 minutes will be crucial,i think Chansa should partner sinkala because of his ability to run & fight for the ball, sunzu wud make sense when the egyptians are kind of tired. The central defence i wud like to see H.H & Chintu.Zambia is winning

  • Gametime12 wrote on 10 October, 2009, 3:10

@Richie not to take anything away from Chintu and HH, I think Dennis Banda has been the most consistent and stable of the two, so I think He should start ahead of Chintu or HH. HH was horable in the last game against Algeria. Ba Mose were where you when Mishick Lungu played in Egypt and cost us a silly goal? Jacob should warm the bench tomorrow, let others get a chance to play a full game too. Good luck to the Chipolopolo boys I hope they fight till the final whistle. May God bless Zambia and no place else……………just kidding

Am worried with the first line up especially the midfield sunzu and chivuta,i don’t understand the kind of coach and advisers we have, for me Renard has wasted our time together with the FAZ executive.these people must pack their bag and leave.how can you prefer sunzu to chansa chivuta to saku, guys get serious with what you are doing this is tax pays money if we lose please let these people resign immediately after the game.

  • Duncan Khosa wrote on 10 October, 2009, 12:22

The lineup seem to be more of defensive than offensive ,Chansa should have started with influencial kalaba in the midfield and Sinkala be more of defensive in the middle of the pack,Chintu could have started because of experience and command in defence for HH.Anyway GO Zambia GO,this is your backyard.
