@Dinamo

Dinamo, do you know why Power have not been doing well the last seasons, poaching and that has been the problem with Power. The late AD attempted to poach Kalu, but never got away with that one cause ba shi maini came with a threat " kill Kalus father" if Kalu leaves Mighty. Power have money but have no proper youth structure which is wrong in my view. Put these simple issues in place and Power will be a great football club not only in Zed but Africa as well

What a great result for my childhood team...Power'90 4 Zesco 1. Kennedy Mudenda is a marvel to watch. The exciting playmaker deserves to be in the national team.Despite being a Dimamooo die-hard, I used to like 'Quicksilver' Beston Chambeshi. Its good he's working alongside Kabole as Power coach. Zega and Zanaco must watch out, we are getting one of the two spots for continental championship next season.
Power 2010 here we come!
Still celebrating the victory with my boyhood friend Mukuka Museba a.k.a Sulumanse.
Interesting snippet:
Three of the greatest derbies in the history of club football:
1.Boca Juniours - River Plate, Argentina.
2.Real Madrid - Barcelona 'El classical', Spain.
3.Power Dynamos - Nkana Red Devils, Zambia.

as cpmiled be Beck$! later...

Uncle Bobs :Zanaco will win the league and Zega second.
Like I told Ba Dinamo naba Spaks,Power always have mixed seasons either they start well or end badly, here we are once again.
Bane am on my way back to Zambia very soon, watch this space! Tuleisa nechimwela kwati ni Kalampa efyo aleisa mu Premier!

Uncle Bobs if you look at our perfomance from 1990-2000,we won the league 4 times (1991,1994,1997 and 2000)and we were runners up for a record 5 times.We begun the new millenium on a sound note wining the tittle in 2000 and runners up in 2001 and 2002.From 2002 thats were this mixed season thing started.I think the main reason has been our failure to stabilise our technical bench.From the time Ben Bamfuchile left in 2003 we have never had had a stable coach.Aggrey Chiyangi took over but before he could settle down we cried for his removal due to poor results.Linos Makwaza was the favourite to take over but having seen what had happened to his neighbour (Chiyangi),Makwaza refused to be head coach and thats when Mweemba can in from Afrisport.The two started on a good note and again lost momentum on the way.Eddie May (Current head coach at Stottish Premier League side FALKIRK FC) then came in has head coach to work with Mweemba and Makwaza but due to his family problems the Briton failed to settle down and he later resigned and went back mid 2005 season to join his wife who had refused to shift to Zambia.Dan Kabwe was brought back to replace May and after bringing some life in a short time he also refused to continue in 2006 insisting that he had quit coaching.Mweemba and Makwaza took charge for the second time and their policy to build a youthfull side worsened things until when management brought in Kabole and Bruce Mwape.After coming out 5th in the 2008 season management made another blunder.This time they fired Kabole hoping to sign a coach who could stier the team to the 2009 league tittle.Patrick Phiri,Fighton Simukonda and Peter Kaumba were interviwed for the job and suprisingly Mohamed Fahty was anounced has coach and for fear of unknown he immediately requested management to get read of his would be assistants Makwaza,Mweemba and Bruce Mwape and recruit his new assistants.Alex Namazaba was shortlisted for the job but again an invisible hand decided to pack player John Munkoje's boots and appointed him assistant coach.Fahty started by beating Zanaco in the oppener and on the way the Pharaoh got confused.Jones Mwewa was then called to assist the situation.Has things got tough management rushed back to Makwaza who was having a good run at Zamtel and 'Sokile' gave a condition that he could only come in has head coach to Fahty and group.Management started preparing for Fahty's exit and by the time they fired the Pharaoh, Makwaza had already signed for Forest Rangers.This sent management into panic gear and rushed to Dan Kabwe who also refused to take up the offer.Knowing that Mwewa and Munkonje were too raw to handle the team, management had no choice but to return to Kabole.Having learnt lessons from the previuos experience,the new management has brought in Beston Chambeshi as assistant to vetaran Fordson Kabole.Munkoje and Mwewa have been mantained has assistants to the main team and youth coaches.So far we are yet to lose a game and with support and consistency on the part of management Kabole and Chambeshi appear to be competent enough to stier the team back to glory.This is what has been affecting our perfomance despite being one of the best sponsored in the league.We need stability in the teachnical team and thats when we will form another star studded team and continue where we left in the 90s

''Fatty'' failed at Kabwe Warriors I wonder who convinced the Power hierarchy to hire him i the first place. He wasted time. Kabole and Bestone Chambeshi act seems to be gelling. I watched ''Quicksilver'''s team Mochudi Center Chiefs in Botswana several times, they were simply a marvel to watch. I hope Power's fortunes are transformed for good although I still sense a Zega and Zanaco top two finish.

Power is back! This one feels good. Question out there to Zamfoot or any one, how many teams are we allocated in next year CAF club tournaments? Do we get an extra spot because of Zega's exploits or are we stuck at 2 spots?

Dang!! I guess Kabole did his homework. He also had the benefit of watching Zesco's matches on TV or video for coming up with a game plan.... Ok maybe not, but all the CAF Champ league games were televised so maybe all the coaches have been trying to figure Zega out. Zega might have to adjust their game plan in the upcoming fixtures. Ba ZANACO are breathing a little easier right now.
