chiti chitundu :great update , im just worried about jacob mulenga , its like he has been given chances but he is not on the scoring chart yet. hope he picks up. nice to have sinkala ,kampamba back. ba justice, gamtime, chamz, or spax which league do you think the cyprus league can match?? i really dont know! israel,PSL,Tunisian?????? fill me in. Otherwise i think that our players need to be more ambitious in their approach , we dont want to see a situ where katongo goes down to third tier, jacob back to chatroux, etc. we need them to have more bite. european soccer is tough but others have made. and somtimes tell these agents off sometimes if they want to take you to singapore or haiti just because of a few dollars. i remember phillmon chipeta was once getting less than his agent!!!!!how sad. the guy who does all the job gets less wages . a little eduication will help these players also.

Do not worry as long as u are not the coach

I was just thinking. Good strikers are not made, they are just inherently all about goals. Its hard for a coach to teach a player to score goals. Pantu the most you can do is work on technique, speed, and ball control, even utilization of space and so forth. At the end of he day when the player is on the field there are so many possibilities and quick decisions that they have to make. It becomes about instincts, determination, confidence, and all those other technical tools simply help you do the job. We have strikers lacking in the mental aspect of things, and maybe a little in the technique. With that said I think Mayuka is one to look at, because of all the strikers he is one who has not been afraid to put shots on goal. Even in the first Algeria game, when he came off the bench, one of the first things he did was try to put a shot on goal. We were busy being upset about Henry Banda shooting against Algeria in Bilda, now thats definately a technique issue, but the instincts and determination are there.

That is a part of Zambian coaching that seemed to not be worked on enough, the psychology of footballers. Coaches give discipline we pat on the back and we congratulate good play, but they need to get in these guys heads and make them think they can do anything they want. Confidence in players can make such a huge difference, look at Thierry Henry, after he whent to Arsenal the boy was bubbling with confidence and goals just kept coming. Look at Shevchenko nobody believes in him, an now he doesn't even believe in himself. I'm just venting I guess. We have strikers that can do the job, Renard can't teach them to score goals but he needs to instill a fearlessness in their approach to games. BUT I think HRs defensive tactics that we have been employing against Egypt and Algeria are because he does not have confidence in our abilities, and its a shame because even with a 4-4-2 I think we can play Egypt or Algeria. Also you can't play a lone striker like Jacob and expect him to score goals .... unless we start playing more on the wings. Bola naishupa fye mwe.

Ba Rops should improve.Whenever I read here,I find losses. Its not encouraging for the Zambian born players. It weakens them & thus weakens our National team in the long run.Nway, hard luck 2 the players, hop the coach does something to improve their performance. Good start for Njovu in Israel, hope Kola also starts to score now,his performance has been dry of goals for long now-at the moment he is ranking worse than Jacob Mulenga who always plays 90minutes but at least scores a goal after playing 8games or so....but we call them Zambia's best Strikers....Take note HR.

Last evening, the Joseph Musonda captained Golden Arrows beat Amazulu 1-0. Kalilio Kakonje and Chintu Kampamba did not feature for Amazulu and still no place in the first eleven or the bench for Francis Kombe in the Arrows team.
