Otherwise i think that our players need to be more ambitious in their approach , we dont want to see a situ where katongo goes down to third tier, jacob back to chatroux,etc. we need them to have more bite. european soccer is tough but others have made. and somtimes tell these agents off sometimes if they want to take you to singapore or haiti just because of a few dollars. i remember phillmon chipeta was once getting less than his agent!!!!!how sad. the guy who does all the job gets less wages . a little eduication will help these players also.

That is a part of Zambian coaching that seemed to not be worked on enough, the psychology of footballers. Coaches give discipline we pat on the back and we congratulate good play, but they need to get in these guys heads and make them think they can do anything they want. Confidence in players can make such a huge difference, look at Thierry Henry, after he whent to Arsenal the boy was bubbling with confidence and goals just kept coming. Look at Shevchenko nobody believes in him, an now he doesn’t even believe in himself. I’m just venting I guess. We have strikers that can do the job, Renard can’t teach them to score goals but he needs to instill a fearlessness in their approach to games. BUT I think HRs defensive tactics that we have been employing against Egypt and Algeria are because he does not have confidence in our abilities, and its a shame because even with a 4-4-2 I think we can play Egypt or Algeria. Also you can’t play a lone striker like Jacob and expect him to score goals …. unless we start playing more on the wings. Bola naishupa fye mwe.
