The Man you missed my whole point in my last post. I know how it works in order for one to get a working permit in England, my point was that even if Zambian players were eligible to get working permits, English premier league clubs would not go for Zambian players. Or if they did Zambian players would not make it (that is why I used Mbesuma as an example. I think Zambian do not have what other African players have, and thats not a fact but just my opinion.

<a href="#comment-348339" rel="nofollow">@Gametime12 </a>
For a player over the age 18 to be granted a work permit in England, he must have played more than 75% of games for his country and his national team must be ranked below 70 on the world FIFA ranking. At that time Zambian was ranked 62 and Mbesuma had played 90% of games for the national team hence being granted the work permit. At the moment no Zambian player can play for any club in England.

<strong><a href="#comment-348074" rel="nofollow">chiti chitundu</a> :</strong>
well i think this is the tornament you can try all the players for the future unlike trying players in the world cup qualifying matches. i think its would have even been better to negotiate with nchimunya mweetwa,chanda mwaba,owen mwendabai,mulenga clifford,chisamba lungu if they can feature in this tournament including kombe. we have to take this tournamnt seriously to climb up the rankings. if our rankings are good , we can have players getting in the UK second division/third division and scotland. The british laws on work permits look at the rankings of the team also, apart from the 75 percent caps for your national team. so we need to take this tourney serious
</blockquote>
I don't think the clubs in England look for rankings in players, Mbesuma had acquired a working permit, but because He was not ambitious enough He could not make it. The young man was supposed to work harder when Portsmouth bought him, instead He was enjoying life like He had already made the final 11. Even though I'm a big fan of Mbesuma, I still think He could have done better while in the UK. I feel like most Zambian players are lacking that fighting spirit that these West Africans have. Look at the Drogba's and them, all they have is that hunger to win.

Yes Ba Justice if We make the right moves We will be back on top in a few years. If We continue with the politics, We might as well forget about lifting the Afcon.

Ba Zamfoot if HR wants to start using young players, when is he going to try this kid Chisamba? From what I’ve seen He has that natural talent. After watching some of his videos I thought He was matured enough for a call up

Chitundu while I agree with your first line, I feel the rest should be left to HR to decide. What I see in the next 2 years is Zed soccer back on track no matter who will be coach. We have a very bright future especially with guys like Joe Chipampwe, Mbalashi, Big Steve, Gametime12, Whisper, Dinamo, Awe etc, we will force ourselves to reach our goal. Spaks and bobs good job. Ine pano nomba it will be after 17:00 hours JC knows why

Cheers to all Zed soccer lovers

He can even call me to camp for all i care as long as he wins us some thing. It will be stupid to perform below par and give the excuse of 'building a team for the future' coz even arsenal do balance the team with older players in vital positions (eg in cup games). Besides young players need some one to look us to when times are hard. This man is putting his head on the chopping board and i will be there to pass the axe.

We have a lot of professionals who have never played for the National team.I think this can be the best time to see what they have to offer.
