Sakuwaha deal
The Zamfoot Crew can confirm that the 26 year old has agreed personal terms with French Ligue 1 club Lorient. He has signed a one deal and tomorrow, his ITC will be sent to the French Football Federation thus officially he will become a Lorient player.
He is still eligible to feature for Zesco United atleast for this afternoon’s match.
Kalaba has switched clubs
Rainford Kalaba has been famed out again by Sporting Braga to another top flight side Uniao de Leiria
Kalaba spent the last season also onloan at second tier side Gil Vicente were he scored 9 goals.
Singuluma & Tsunami
Given Singuluma was on target yesterday for TP Mazembe. Singuluma scored the second goal against Zimbabwe side Monomutapa as TP won 2-0 and took their tally to 9 points from 4 matches and top of group B.
In Germany, Chris Katongo was also on target in the 4-2 win.
Andrew Sinkala has said he will be fit for Zambia’s crucial game against Algeria.
Herve Renard and six other local players have left for France today and will be joined by the Foreign based players.
Sakuwaha and Hichani will leave tomorrow.

On what link can i watch this game?
Myafricanfootball.com
Guys, give me a stream please! For some reason myafricanfootball isn’t showing this game.
Failing that, I am relying on you guys on the ground to keep us updated.
Ati shani Ka link?
Afternoon ZAMFOOT,what is the status at the stadium
Same league as Braga his club. Good for him at least it is not second division like last time
Zesco looking smart in the same stripe as in the picture. Pitch looks in pristine condition. Good crowd, excellent noise. 10 mins balanced game thus far.
Zedfoot, I’ve been impressed with the guy the whole campaign. He has been good in all the matches thus far. He is also a huge guy, he must be around 6′5″ or something. Even Jonas at around 6′2″ looks small next to him. I also like Jackson Mwanza, he’s a very good technical player, but has been starved of supply in the last 2 games.
Zamfoot, that guy was a thorn in the flesh in Sudan. He is the one who got Kamwandi sent off and then scored a scorcher of a second goal. For me Zesco are just missing a creative centre mid who can control the tempo of the game. When they are under pressure they just tend to boot it long. This comment might not apply today because I’m not actually watching the match
Come on Zega!!
So no one is streaming the game online?
remember these guys just like algeria next week are fasting so there energy levels will suffer around the 60 minute and then the game will open up,don’t be suprised to see some goals in the second half,i think zesco have been set up well, there playing a cautious game in the first half then go all out in the second half, zambia should do the same next week.i can’t imagine playing 90 minuts witout food or water, sorry can,t person to full potential…
Our boys are slow apart from sakuwaha, let us wait and see.
Am having problems posting messages
phew!
Well disjointed display in the first half by Zesco. Need to bring on Siloni Jere.
What’s the latest? Any goals?
Why isn’t the game on the radio? What happened to the love for football in Zambia? Most games used to be on the radio in the good ol days.
Guys hw many minutes left for this game, and hw is the performance of zesco?
I believe its 19 minutes to full time
Unbelievable refereeing decisions first there was a clear penalty shout waved away and then the brilliant headed Sakala effort ruled out! What a miss by a tiring Chipalo, Simukonda is livid.
Wow these reffs they are biased if at our own back yard
I’m getting worried now
Keep us posted Ba Muzo
any goes yet for zega
is the game still on
keep them coming gents, whats the score
6 minutes to go and still no goals
90 minutes seems like this is going to be a goalless draw
somebody to tell us the scores
Zesco is not doing so well at home
They should pray that Kano Pillars draw or lose.
zammbian teams have a problem winning games in front of the home fans
el merriekh are hungry and tired its ramadan but we still cant beat them
hahaha@Nsomba…..What happened to home ground advantage?
@gametime I ve no idea why we cannot take advantage of the fact that we are playing at home
In Zesco’s defence they did have 7 players missing if remember correctly. Still they should have taken advantage of playing in front of a home crowd……
@ Gametime 12, our players seem to have problems handling home pressure, it’s 2 pts dropped.
Lets not forget this was a Zega side missing SEVEN regulars did well from that score. Goalkeeper Chansa Kabwe loòked assured, ‘ Kwame’ Hichani Himoonde had an outstandïng match at the heart of defence, and Saku excited the huge partisan but could not give them a farewell goal.
Live score: Pillars 0-1 Al Hilal. 32 minutés in the 1st.half…
Guys, I am disappointed that Zega have failed to win at home, but remember that they had over half of their starting lineup either injured or suspended. These Merreikh chaps are very good and have not spared any expense to get to this stage. With 2 matches to go it is really good that they still have a chance of progressing.
kano pillars have scored 47 minutes before half time, its 1-1…..HALF TIME
Livescore: The 2nd. Half has just started; PILLARS 1-1 HILAL
Final Score: kano Pillars 2-1 Al Hilal
Al hilal and kano pillars have drawn 2-2.
That must have been a tough match, Al hilal is looking good right now. Will Zesco be able to bash them at home….
BBC is reporting that kano pillars has beaten Al hilal, please guyz what is the real scores?
How true is this coz i just read on bbc that kano pillars won the game 2-1
@kapaya
mwana, there are many sources.znbc main news say t was a 2-2 draw.u thnk i just woke up and post without facts.get real my friend.
CAF online reports that Kano Pillars have beaten AL Hilal by 2-1.
Kano Leads the Pack in group A.
Kano 7 pts
Al-Hilal 7pts
Zesco 5pts
Merriek 2
Hi everyone,
Just a little practical question: do you know where exactly in France the national team will camp?
thanks if you can give me a clue.
Yup Kano Pillars won, Zesco have a mountain to climb. They’ve put themselves in the same situation as that of the national team. I think its time for Zambian players to understand how important it is to bag 3 points at home. At least Zesco did not lose at home which is the worst thing that could happen to a team in the qualification stage of any tournament.
Too bad for zesco fc.
If only the mathematics we like in soccer was empirical and not hypothetical, we would have won the World Cup. But kunsamushi shabufi twapena. Why do we always have to complicate things for ourselves. Last minute is not just dangerous but suicidal!
Tough luck Zega, we need to start bagging them 3 points at home, ala division one north yapya, in the Mufulira Derby mighty beat blackpool 2-0 while kalampa dre, mighty have closed the gap to 4 points kaya
Three points adrift from the top is not bad. Since we seem to strugle to get te points at home might as wel win all the away games then.
Sad news in the PSL is that Roger Kola has been released by Golden Arrows.
maths has come in now and we seem not to be good at such.can some one help me on this.why are we not delivering wenever we playing at home,is it our bad pitches or wat.
zambia under 20 went out to egypt and got something impressive but wen egypt came here, they were booted out.
we lost to algeria which is just anther bad example.zesco seems to be doing the same and as things stand i dont think we shall beat kano pillars in nigeria unless other wise.
Some Chingola referee was too baised in the Chingola Leopards v. Nkana game. I have information that Nchanga rangers bribed the referee to favour the Chingola side so that Nkana loses the grip at the helm of the div league as they hope they can get promotion to ZPL this year. I was not surprised to see the entire Rangers executive flocking the dressing rooms as if it was their team playing.
Zambian football at its worst.i dont understand why pipo try to be so unproffesional
Faz i know some of you are regulars on this site, if there is any truth to this matter i think we should investigate, this is nonsense, thats if its true
but then again vincent how can a chingola ref handle a match involving a chingola team? are you sure?
zesco just nid good and sharp strikers upfront, not one day heroes…wish they had kabamba, those who were at woodlands can agree with me.
Vincent is a die hard Nkana supporter, so he is biased too here.
Zesco jersey look very good unlike national team-rags.
Ba Chamz are u sure about what u are saying, I feel there was nothing extra Ordinary about the Jersey as it also had too much white on it, 2me it wud have looked more nice if it waz domited by Orange nd Green.
Too bad for Zesco.I thought that goal which Enoch scored was guinine?.Also a penaulty denied.
Ba Chamz it is very true I have confirmed this information from both Rangers and Chingola leopards camps. The practice by Rangers is very bad, the last confusion at Nkana satanduim was also coused by a Chngola referee and that time rangers was number two. I have not complained about Mighty who are number two now in Division one becouse they are a sober club.
Rangers must play on the pitch, remember last year, they tried tricks to stay in premier but failed.
I think we are being hard on Zesco, its their first time to come this far compared to many other teams in the competition.
You just said ZECO seem to be doing well away and not at home, then why should you doubt that they can’t beat Kano pillars at home.Mind you El-Merrik has more stars than pillars.Watch out zega may jus pull out another surprise.
Clifford has signed for Aces on the last day. At least he has got a club.
@Chamz
the issue here is not coming from a far and stuff.its about winning, football is about winning not just playing good.
