Isreali club to remember Chaswe

August 29th, 2009

Isreali top flight side Hapoel Be’er Sheva will today observe a minute of silence before the encounter in memory of former Zanaco and Zambia striker Nsofwa ‘Milla’ Chaswe.

In an interview with the Zambianfootball.net, the late Chaswe’s agent, Nir Karin confirmed that the two teams will wear black armbands in memory of Chaswe who died at the team’s stadium during a training session exactly two years ago.

“On the 29 of August it will be 2 years from the sad death of the great Chaswe. The club of Hapoel Be’er Sheva and their fans will remember it by standing a minute silence before the game on Saturday and by another 6 minutes of silence by the fans and as memorial since Chaswe had number 6 in Israel,” Karin Said
“It is very touchy and warming to see the club and the fans remember and still love the big Chaswe,” he added

Seems like the website is becoming more advanced with pop-up ads or is it just me having this problem? Perhaps it’s a deliberate policy by Zamfoot crew to have these things harassing us when we visit the site or maybe the site is infected with malware? Who knows? Help me out here guys, can’t keep from wondering. on second thought, that’s probably how you make some revenue but I think affiliate programs are much better in my opinion since they don’t get all over in your face and there is a bunch of them out there, good ones for that matter that people can actually benefit from clicking on them. Pop-ups can be annoying.

We zambians should give credit to chaswe coz he was the key that openned the do to the israeli league for us. He is the simple reason we have a good number of players there.

Kabole continues to weave his magic and yes what a goal by Kambamba it seems woodlands stadium is producing fantastic goals this season, last week it was a cracker by francis Kasonde, yesterday kabamba showed what a striker should do, Dennis Banda didnt know what was happening niether did kaumbwa only the net knew, lol. RIP miller

Rest in Peace Nsofwa. It is gratifying as a Zambian,to learn that a club in Isreal still recognises the contributions you made to the club.

I met Nsofwa at church when he came with his wife and inlaws. We had a long conversation over a cup of Tea and snacks, just the two of us. He loved it when i told him about one of his favourite moves on the ball, choping the ball like Ronaldhino. He loved it, asking me about it with a lot of excitement. He’s smile and soft hands very deceptive for the amount of hard work he used to put in on the pitch. We need the players who can chase nearly everything to make the team attack potently. Oh yes he had a briliant shot. May his soul rest in peace.
