Tsunami, Jacob joins camp…but Mweene misses trip?

And five South Africa based players linked up with the second batch of players from Lusaka on Monday night in Johannesburg and left for France .But unfortunately first choice goalkeeper Kennedy Mweene was not part of the contingent which left at around 19: 30 South African time. Braga sends Kalaba on-loan again

Braga sends Kalaba on-loan again
Portuguese side Sporting Braga have sent Zambian midfielder Rainford Kalaba for another loan spell but this time around to another Liga Sagres (top flight) side Uniao de Uleiria for the whole season. Kalaba made the switch on Friday last week and Braga hope the Mufulira born midfielder will continue his progress at Uleiria after spending another seasonal loan at second tier side Gil Vicente last season were he scored 9 goals. In Sunday’s goalless stalemate against Maritimo, Kalaba did not feature but will hoping to push his way into the Uleiria first team after the international break in which he is suspended after accumulating his second yellow against Algeria. Sakuwaha to complete Lorient move on Tuesday

International and Zesco United winger Jonas Sakuwaha is expected to complete his one year deal to French Ligue 1 side Lorient FC on Tuesday after undergoing medicals in Paris. In one of the longest transfer moves, Sakuwaha put pen to paper on Friday night after agreeing personal terms and his contract papers were couriered to Paris by one of the members in the first batch of the Chipolopolo Boys (Herve Renard, Patrice Beamulle plus six players) that left on a 13:00 hour’s flight. His agent will be on hand to receive the papers at the Airport in Paris and then submit them to the French Football Federation (FFF) subject to an International Transfer Certificate (ITC) from FAZ to beat the mid-night transfer window deadline.
