Good news for Jonas, he has been very consistent this season and has been a big influence on Zesco United’s qualification to the Group stage of the Champions’ league and also the good run in the national league. When a chance comes a player’s way to go professional it is only right for the club to give blessings to such an opportunity and facilitate his movement.
As for Kamuzati Kabwe moving from Arrows to Zesco United,it is just a rumour which will die down quickly.

I beg to differ with you @mabwana if the Israeli league is like the PSL in SA why do South Africans leave SA to go and play in Israel (e.g. Thembinkosi fanteni and Peter Tsepo Masilela these are first team players in the bafana bafana squad )And another tip for you mabbwana the Israeli league which does not inspire confidence in you this where the likes of Yakubu Ayigbeni,Wilfred Mugeyi ,John Paintsil started their professional careers so the Israeli league is no where near the SA psl .The other thing is teams from Israeli Hold there own in the uefa cup and uefa champions league but the South African Clubs fail to perform in the caf champions league or Caf confederations cup .So ba mabwanna ba mudala I think going to Isreal is not such a bad career choice after all .So lets just wish both Seba Mwansa and Willi Ndhlovu the best of luck in Israel and not lets not criticise the Israeli league without proper facts .

Point taken mabwanna but I just feel Its cardinal that our players start by crawling before they can walk i.e. .start in Israel then move on to Europe’s big Five leagues i.e. Spain,England,Italy ,France or German leagues .Otherwise if the skip the stage of playing in a league like the Isreali,danish or Swedish leagues they end up taking on more than what they can handle .We have a perfect example in mbesuma`s move to Portsmouth it was a bit too early and other thing is the SA PSL is worlds apart from the English premiership and this meant mbesuma was doomed from the start .So personally I prefer Zambians going to Israel ,Denmark ,Sweden or Norway cause at least .I know for sure they are guaranteed a place in the starting line ups of their club sides

What happened to training in Spain or North Africa? Are we sure that we will be able to acclimatize if we camp in Netherlands? I thought the team was awash with cash, so just because we get an offer from Rabobank, it doesn’t mean that we should take them up on their offer before Algeria. I thought HR was working on something in the South of France anyway?

Zamfoot sorry to say this but this where losing starts, the coach wanted italy or france, chipungu was mouthing about morocco and maybe (am not sure ) FAZ made a arrangement with holland ( I Know its where mulenga plays but i personal think Kalu might have had something to do with the arragement)..
This a do or die match/matches, the coach’s wish should have be respected and soccer managemenet should work out together with agreements.I think we have alots of coaches on this case and this is not good.

Joseph, RSA, i get sense from HR that he didn’t want to camp in North Africa for whatever reasons, so he suggested France instead, but i don’t think he had concrete plans at that stage. Holland is great, they take football serious there, but as Whisper points out there will be the issue of acclimatization for North Africa. Also, Mabbwana mentions plans for a tournament, i think as long as we keep the emphasis on getting things right and on the game in hand (without to much distraction of long tournaments). It should be good.

Yes Josef, if HR can be 100% happy with a plan and if we still have the options, then FAZ should go for it. I also had apprehensions when i heard North Africa (at this sensitive stage). Italy sounds good actually, the conditions should be close to Algeria. Friendly matches are key aswell of course.

I hope it ends in a draw, Josef, RSA I think you a right. One thing I noticed about HR though is that He always tries to explain himself. He is the coach no need to explain why someone missed a penalty, that’s why He ends up dropping the wrong players. The direction the ball went afterthe goalie dived for it clearly shows that he got the ball. The Egyptian striker didn’t even fall to the ground and there was certainly no protest from the Egyptians. Needless to say that this result doesn’t change anything in terms of what we need to do i.e. win all the three remaining games. I believe we will pick up six points from our away games but I am not convinced we will get the result against Egypt. Not that Egypt are a good side but purely because we are crap at home-the pitch and the negative soccer cadres in the stadium just don’t help at all. I will be happy if we were asked to play our games away from home

The only thing We need to do is to take Ba Muzo’a advice. We have to change. Egyptian supporters were rallying behind the team from the time the game started, even though they were sitting at the bottom of the table together with Rwanda. I understand tax payers pay our national teams expenses, but this does not mean We should be bitter towards our own team. We as fans need to scream, shout, sing the loudest when We are playing at home. We also have to stop blaming players for any loss, in my eyes We have the best team in this group (not being biased towards my home country either). Our defense is superb, we just need to fine tune our offense. Egypt missed a lot of clear chances in today’s game but they also managed to create many more. This allowed them to pick up their pieces and score some.

You are probably be right, but I thought the same of the U.S in the Conf Cup after their first two losses, but they were in the final. But then again the U.S is a Team of a different calibre. Rwanda still has proved their prowess.

I think Amavubi played well regardless of the result, they must have lost hope once the reff handed Egypt a controversial penalty. They were also 1 man down in the dying minutes, and Egypt took advantage of that.

Gametime2 : you know very well that in Africa away-games are very difficult because of so many factors and dot necessarily reflect the value of each team. Secondly, I believe that Algeria is becoming stronger and more confident while this Rwanda team is lesser than the one that confronted Algeria and Zambia. Seriously, I think Algeria can win with more than 3 goals in case Egypt beats Zambia.

Besides a team that loses some matches gets the chance to fix up their mistakes. Algeria is sitting on cloud nine they don’t know their weakest points yet. I wont be surprised if they will caught napping.

Am guessing these are the commentators that were calling Abou trikas name like 50 times? if one added a beat to that commentary it would wind up being a song called Abou Trika. Anonymous I watch the game with my own eyes i don’t need a commentator to distort my views. May be Rwanda is weak at this point, who knows if they will be in the same state when they play Algeria. They will most likely go back to the drawing board and try to fix their problems. Meanwhile Algeria is still partying it up after beating Zambia by 2 goals.

It would be wise for the coach to keep the winning team, but this is not about the coach its the players mentality that counts. They might just get big headed.

I did not say anything about Rwanda qualifying, I don’t even think they will make Angola 2010. My point is, teams like Rwanda are in this to fulfill the fixture. This means they wont qualify but they are capable of spoiling your day if you lose concentration.

Zesco v Lsk Dynamos ended in a barren draw. So Zanaco goes into the midseason break at the summit of the lague table. This is not a good sign from zesco especially now that they will be playting the CAF Cl.
I fell to understand what it is really they look at in Kasonde becuase I think he is a great player but surprising ids he never goes past the trials. Wish him good luck though.
But why Fwayo? Isn’t this absebnce going to cost him? I hope there is a better explanation behind all this.

The battle for 2010 was lost when we gave away that game to Algeria. Everything favour Algeria now. They will make sure they wallop Zambia and Rwanda in Algeria.
Meanwhile, Moroka Swallows of South Africa will not sign Mbesuma. He failed the trials. Judge for yourselves.

I hope the Fwayo situation is not just another act of immaturity on the players side. Zamfoot please keep us udated with whats going on with the young man.
The Mbesuma story makes for very sad reading. Its been way too long since we heard something positive about ntofontofo’s career. The big clubs are not woking out so maybe he should opt for the smaller clubs but definitely not the Mvela. maybe he should go and knock on Jomos door. Jomo seems to be on the road to building his team to a 40 man team again. He seems to be signing players every week. This could be a starting point even though it would mean a serious salary cut of below 50% his Sundowns salary but hey, beggers are not choosers. I dont think if Mbesuma applies himself it will be hard for im to bounce back especially in the PSL so he should take whatever offer whatever club in the PSL gives him and focus on banging in goals from there. This no club situation is jeopardising his chipolopolo chances as well so its bad from all angles.

I really feel for Mbesuma. Surely from top man and now failing trials when he should have been a straight signing without trials. I think (like most bloggers on here suggested), he should consider coming back to the ZPL and rebuild his career. I also wonder what it is that is making him fail to control his weight. It seems it (weight) is what is really taking him down.

Fwayo will leave to regret whatever action he takes. Ba Dinamo had an opportunity to hear first hand information the other week of how Vincent Mutale missed out on an opportunity to go to Kaiser Chiefs, when he told Kaiser Motaung point blank in a car at Pamodzi or Inters that Poulsen was instead arranging some professional stsint for him that never materialised to date. Vincent is a soldier in Kabwe and only plays madalas soccer. Ifyaiche ifi mulefyebako please (sorry for losing it here) but these boys when they make a bit of money out there, the next
thing they want is ukwisashaina mu Kalingalinga, Luanshya etc. When i think of wasted talent in Ronald Mbambara, Emmanuel Zulu, Calvin Chisha, Chanda Bwalya etc my heart really bleeds. I am sure Zesco United would have loved to finish the first half of the season on top considering the assignment ahead. A point from the top is not bad at all considering the fact that the team has been fighting war on two fronts, national and international.Half the season gone and six international games and the team is yet to taste defeat.
This should prepare the team mentally as the upcoming games have more to do with mental strength than anything else.Well done to the technical bench and players for working so hard.Zambians should momentarily forget about their various club allegiance and give Zesco United support on 18 July in Chililabombwe.

Chindika, he is still in Germany at SV Grimmelfingen he just moved there from SpVgg Au/Iller. I remember the guy tested HIV+, but continued playing. I think it was quite a big story, because he decided not to keep quiet. I have to say well done to him for that. He showed immense courage and strength.
