Zambia national team tactical Herve ‘Super Fox’ Renard believes burly striker Collins ‘Ntonfo-ntonfo’ Mbesuma’s gut feeling in front of the goal posts is what the Chipolopolo Boys need going into this weekend’s FIFA 2010 World Cup qualifier against Rwanda.
The French-born and ex-Ghana physical trainer has singled out Mbesuma as the man to lead Zambia to victory at Chililabombwe’s Konkola ‘The Grave-Yard’ Stadium.
Renard who despite having an array of attacking options at disposal in the mode of Christopher Katongo, James Chamanga, Jacob Mulenga and Chan golden boot winner Given Singuluma has acknowledged the skill and ability of Mbesuma to beat a cluster of defenders. And such kind of the strength could be crucial if the Amavubi deploy an Italian catanacio type of tactics in five days time.
“Mbesuma has improved in the two weeks and we need him to change the strike force when we face Rwanda,” the Super Fox has been quoted in Monday’s Zambia Daily Mail.
“All the players are at their best. The fighting spirit is good and I do not see why we should lose to Rwanda and Algeria,” the confident went on to add.
Quote of the day from Sports Minister Kenneth Chipungu in Mondays’ Times of Zambia
“Councillors when choosing leaders in FAZ should make sure that they choose credible people who have the heart of developing football in Zambia, you cannot have a FAZ president who does not reside in Zambia, no! its unacceptable. When the head of State or myself want to contact him, he is not available. Now how do you run football in this manner?”
“We are worried with the manner FAZ is running football in Zambia. When you query them, they rush to FIFA to say the Government is interfering with the running of football, which is totally unfair.
“The Government is the key stakeholder in the association and raise all the money required for the national team to undertake international fixtures, but when we ask FAZ to reduce gate charges, the association ignores our call and…..does not even consult us before pegging prices,”
Meanwhile, Stophira Sunzu and Emmanuel Mbola joined from their European bases yesterday. Sunzu arrived from France during while Mbola who ply his trade in Armenia joined later in the night
Teen striker Emmanuel Mayuka is in the country and while Hungary based defender cum midfielder Misheck Lungu is expected to join today.
New Dutch side FC Utrecht’s striker Jacob Mulenga will fly direct to Ndola.

It’s good to see that Mbesuma is regaining his long lost confindence back and convincing the technical bench that he can still command a place in the first eleven.
Lets rally behind the boys and give 100% support because this is what they need to finish the icing on the cake.
Viva Chipolopolo boys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Soccer Failure..Mbesuma is nothing to HARD ROCK…Ndikumana HAMAD “Kataut’ ask ROBINHO in UEFA CUP qualifiers… he knws him very well..bRAVOOOO AMAVUBIIIIIIIII .god BLSS RWANDA
Good to hear that Mbesuma is in shape.Iam worried with the way Mr Chipungu is operating,I think he is wrong man to be in-charge of sports
Sounds like the morale is great in the camp and there is definately competition-that’s good!!!
What’s Cipungu on about? Politicians are just a waste of human!!!!
I have always advised Kalu to seek audience with Rupiah Banda before things could get worse. Chipuba has also appointed Hanif Adams , a former rival candidate of Kalu and what does that supposed to mean? We are not worried about Kalu residing in South Africa if anything is well centred to arrange for the the team training logistics. The National team will not be camping in Zambia and the head of FAZ is always available during the time of the games .
I have long been saying that there is discord and a lack of cohesion in the general running of our football. I cant claim to know the details but it is evident that not all the stakeholders are on the same page and pulling in the same direction. Just a question to the fellow bloggers, what are your opinions regarding the President of FAZ not residing in the country as Chipungu has highlighted. I am curious to know how you guys feel about it and whether it is acceptable and in the best interest of our football. Hope you have a good week.
mbesuma, welcome back!we want to be having competition in the first eleven ! go Zambia go!
zambia 4 ; Rwanda 1
Gentlemen, possible formations as the game draws nearer?
I am still mulling over the formation but I think we should go with Mbesuma and Jacob upfront. Jacob will be buoyed by his new contract and Mbesuma will be playing to prove the critics wrong. I would also like to welcome “Campos” to the blog. Campos, I hope you will not be a fly by night blogger and disappear after we discipline Rwanda…LOL. We are very accommodative in this blog and your post mortem on the 7th of June will be highly appreciated as we analyse were Rwanda went wrong. Cmon Zambia.
The sports minister has issues with Kalu. Just as much as I am not saying Kalu is doing all things right, we need a more sobber guy as minister. The current minister will bring a lot of confusion. By the way is are sports ministers in Zambia only concerned about soccer?
I have stopped predictaing formations with HR, I am sure he will choose a good team for the day.
Lets Go Zambia Lets GO!!! Can the politicians stop politicizing the Sport? Please let them just concentrate on their own business. I see nothing wrong with the FAZ President residing in SA…I mean, SA is just An hour and thirty minutes away from Zambia. Do they want to be dining with Great Kalu every day?? Go Zambia Go. Little wonder why HR decided to camp outside Zambia in order for the team to avoid hearing hearing all the jabberings by officials….
Mr. Campos, concentrate on supporting your team rather than critising our players. Am 100% sure Mbesuma will haunt you after the game. I will make sure i send you a comment just after the game.
Ulimbe!!!!!
Its great Mbesuma is back in form lets go zambia we have to prove to the world that we have what it takes to reach the 2010 world cup in SA. My word of caution to the boys is try by all means to work as a team and that way we will be able to beat Rwanda and i believe they’ll leave Konkola Stadium wishing they did not come . Team play and you’ll see!!!!!
Guess ntofontofo must be playing his heart out in camp. He seriously needs to up his game also for his club to be convinced to continue with him come next season. Good to know he is giving it his all for the coach to be impressed. We have four in the box strikers in mbesuma jacob Given and chamanga. The coach will definitely have a bit of a headache in his selection though it seems Mbesuma has almost sealed his spot.
Chipungu, well its hard to understand this man. A couple of years later thats when he wants to bring up Kalu’s not living in SA.talk about perfect timing!! With the Hanif story, it is easy to now know who Chipungu voted for at the last FAZ elections.
can some please enlighten on this ‘Chipungu and Adams’ what is it that Adams has been appointed for and please someone tell me.
Musonda extends Arrows deal
Posted: 2009-06-01 10:26
Golden Arrows have begun putting their house in order ahead of the new season by extending defender Joseph Musonda’s contract for another three years.
Musonda’s deal, along with those of Kagisho Dikgacoi and Musa Bilankulu was set to expire in June.
Speaking to KickOff.com the Zambian defender confirmed that he and club director Mato Madlala had agreed on terms for the new contract.
“We put everything on paper last week and I am happy with what the director has offered me and I want to do all I can for the team now.”
Musonda, who has also played for Free State Stars locally, said that he is ready to work even harder for the team.
Abafana Bes’thende PRO Zwelethu Mzolo confirmed the news and said as far as the others were concerned, the coach had still to tell the director which players they still need.
“Musonda is a very good defender and everyone would like to have him in his team and that is why we wanted to extend his contract. We are happy that the negotiations were finalised fruitfully,” he added.
I wanted to watch the boys train at Milpark stadium but aparently the were training somewhere further from the Hotel. Milpark stadium is being used by South Africa as the prepare for the Confedaration Cup. I then went to the Hotel where i found Mr.Pandor in the lobby who was friendly to me. He had to ask me a few questions just to make sure i’m Zendian & not a “spy”. Which i thought was good this what we need from our Team Manager who i always held in high respect. I asked him for directions to the other stadium he told me the boys would arriving back soon.
He told me the boys are taking it a bit easy this week, they are not risking injuries to the players. Though they have been working for 3 hours in the morning 3 in the afternoon especially last week.
I finally met the players when the came back from their morning session just before 12 o’clock. I had a chat with Noel Chivuta and Joseph. I also had hand shakes with J.Chamanga,Stophira, Mr.”Reliable” F.Kasonde and my main man Collins. I should say Collins looks trim compared to the way he was the last time we played Togo at Chillies.
I should say the guys look confident. I saw Feligo,Chris,Kennedy and the other players together with the Coaching Staff. Though i never spoke to them.
I saw “some goals” in Collins not just one. Thats all i can say.
On the Sports Minister i think this is bad timing. Why always rush to the press. When we having two important games for the National team we need unity not these personal attacks. This is cadre mentality.
Good for Mbesuma.
Honourable Chipungu I mean no disrespect Sir, just give us Fans a little space especially now that our focus is on the game. Another peice of advice to you sir is that take football as a sub set of your portifolio becouse us fans see a football Minister not Sports in General.
your concerns though for the High Open win Tickects I share with you the need not to exploit the poor fans.
What exactly is Chipungu’s problem? Ever sisnce he got to this post, he has sought nothing ut ana antagonistic relationship with FAZ. I’m getting tired of this guy always coming out with something negative about FAZ every time he opens his mouth. Kalu’s job does not require him to be on the ground 24/7 cause this is not a full time job unlke that of General Secretary. Chipungi needs to tone down on rhetoric and let those with obviously a higher football IQ than he can ever dream to have do their job. If he is so concerned about the gate charges, he should be pushing for the quick completion of the Independence stadium works so a larger and safer vebue is available for the fans. He will be the same person pointing fingers if a tragedy happens at Konkola due to overcrowding. Real fans will show up at the game and right now, lets focus on supporting the team as opposed to listening to Chipungu’s nonsence
This chipuba,oh sorry, chipungu guy?why can’t he just shut his mouth and concentrate on politics? This is surely no time to start bringing divisions in FAZ when we have crucial games coming ahead of us.Well it’s big up to collins for redescovering his form.that will add to the competition that already exists up front.GO ZAMBIA GO..
SURE …i will be there coz i trust my boyz “AMAVUBI”
chipungu might not be the best minister of sport, but on the issue of FAZ president NOT residing in zambia, the man has a good point, imagine SAFA President residing in zambia while running soccer in RSA.eish!

What is the problem with these nu deal carders ?tubena chipungu, shakapwasha, tentamashimba and ba mulongoti.they all sim to be suffering frm mashabe.toking too much in the press and yet doing nothing on matters affecting our economy.i ve known our soccer icon king ,great kalu for 20 yrs and i only knew this chipuba or chipungu two month ago.were the hell is he frm?leave our football out of politics chapwa.
AMAVUBI Formation 4-4-2…we are not comin’ to deffend if u thik so…we need those 3pts seriously..Our result in MALAWI should not brind you…Those gyz will prove you wrong
Question is there a law that states that the FAZ president has to reside in Zambia? Do FAZ have to consult with FAZ when they are setting ticket prices for soccer matches? NO and NO! Chipungu is a joke, it hurts me to think that he is supposed to represent the best of us. Kalusha was not elected by the govt, if Chipungu cant contact kalu leave a message and he will get back to you. This is all about Ego from the minister and him trying to pull rank. Its obvious he is not comfortable in his own skin, i suggest his secretary every morning needs to tell him that he is the MINISTER of sports way boosting his EGO so he feels IMPORTANT. The man is coming off as very Juvenile if u ask me……..
Mbesuma looks like he’s bouncing back, which is a good thing for him and the country. I really hope that he has regained his fitness and form, him and Jacob up front should complement each other well. Jacob is good at stretching the defence and Collins can apply the finishing touches. If not Collins then I think Given should come into the match, he is a deadly finisher too.
The mid should be anchored by Francis ‘Mr Reliable’ Kasonde with Jonas (controversal I know) on the right. Jonas really impressed me at Chan he has fantastic skill, pace and we need to start blooding him for future assignments. Kalaba on the left and Feligol operating infront of Francis. I’m afraid that Chris would be on the bench this time round because he never really showed anything in Cairo and throughout the season in Germany. Both Chris and Fwayo are players that would be good impact players to bring on if the game is 0-0 with 30 mins to go.
The defence is the one area where I haven’t had much trouble selecting (unlike the other depts that have given me a real headache). D. Banda and HH in the centre, Nyambe at right-back and Emma Mbola at left.
K Mweene is the only choice in goal at the moment.

CHIPUNGU CLOSE YOUR MOUTH KOLWE, NI SHANI KANSHI IWE, BECAUSE OF EVARITO KASUNGA AND COMPANY IWE KOLWE. KALU JUST RESIGN AND LET KAZALA, KASUNGA AND ISHI IMBWA SHI TEKE
Trouble is the dear minister is not known so the only way he will be known among zambians is to talk in our world of football, wonder why he can talk abt cricket
campaign trick i also think..
let’s as much try avoid foul language. This is just football we all love..
Itis good to hear that Mbesuma has proved to the coach that he can on the first eleven line up. This is what a good coach should do not playing one because of history.Mbesuma can distroy any defence as long as he is fit. Zambia is going to carry the day with a very big margin. About the minister & Kalu, I have no comments but I have my own view.
pipo lets not divert from tha main purpose of having this Blog and stay focus on tha issues at hand, this site waz meant for Discussin Zambian Football and sharin tha views on how we can improve our standards in the world of football.
Chipungu is just playing politics.Am now very disappointed with him.I had great respect for him.
To make contacts anywhere in the world you need to be travelling around most of the time and that what Kalusha is doing.
I am enjoying Campos’ comments. Keep the flowing. I am getting so excited. On the issue of Chipungu, his decision and views are erratic. However, the point of Kalu not residing in Zambia is a valid one that I think should be examined thoroughly and not just dismissed on the demerit that it came from Chipungu. I am of the opinion that it is ideal for the FAZ president to reside in Zambia. He should be in touch with Zambian football and not doing things via remote control. For the kind of hands on approach that FAZ needs, I think this point should be thoroughly interegated. Let us keep morale in the blog high and respect the diverse views of all bloggers whilst encouraging robust football discourse. There is more than enough space on the blog for everyone to share their views in a good environment…LOL…Zamfoot, how much internet traffic can you handle!?!
Formation:
Mweene
J. Musonda HH Banda Mbola

Kalaba C. Katongo F. Katongo
Mbesuma Mulenga
Interesting point. I guess that is one way off looking at it. That point can definitely hold water in a court of law. How would you respond to the point that the same networking can be done using Zambia as the bas and not SA? Another question, do you think we are reaping the fruits of the “networking”? I think the preparations before games has definitely improved but I am not yet convinced that it has anything to do with him being based in SA. Cmon.
Typo above: “Zambia as the BASE”
Chipungu is annoying everybody here. Those who are close to him should advise him that,he has no voice and has lost all his respect.Thats why pipo are calling him names on this blog.If you saw,he is the one who ignited the Mayuka saga,he wanted to bring down Kalu but failed. Now he is on with it again, the Zain Multichoice deal, the ticket issue, kushe, who is he working for?.Im also upset, just like Justice Kafusha & the other bloggers coz,its only a village dog that cannot listern.FAZ are merely trying to help themselves run football efficiently,we cannot complain about the 50pin.Lets not make noise, good things only comes once in a lifetime.
Please Nenani Banda tell your daddy that fans are not really impressed with Chipungu. This man will bring a FIFA ban to Zambia.
Lets us concetrate on the saturday game and stop the petty issues of Kalu.Councillors elected him on account of what he presented to them(residential status inclusive). Why cant you let him run things the he sees fit and if it does not work, diselect him at the next elections,I BELIEVE THAT IS WHAT IS CALLED DEMOCRACY.It is pointless for the Minister to start addressing the issue at the time when we are busy preparing for a crucial match. He wil disrupt the momentum gained in Egypt with his utterances. He may have a point but his timing is wrong! That is why some people wonder and question his calibre and sense of judgement! He is an Hounerable for Godis sake and let him act like one.By the way Kalu is now in the carrebian for a FIFA
MEETING and whether he is in Zambia or not ,such will keep him out of the country for half the time that we want him in Zambia because he has other responsibilities at FIFA.He also has a vice in case somebody did not know including the Minister!
Magic, in as much as the timing by the Sports Minister is horrendous, he does however raise a valid point. If there was a separate organization running the league versus the national team, I wouldn’t mind one bit where Kalu lives. However, given that during the season, the league goes on, on a weekly basis something has to be said about the President not being around to watch and observe. I don’t know how else he would be able to improve the league without being around.
I don’t mind the call to reduce the ticket prices as we all know the hardships people I going through, I do however take exception with the way the message is being blasted through the media. I’m sure, even the Minister could not get in touch with Kalu, he should have given him the opportunity to get back to him. It’s not like it’s a big secret that Kalu lives out of Zambia!
Chipungu is right
kalu should resign because he is not in the coverage area.Make me in Zambia and then spend it in South Africa no ,enough is enough.this explains why the exchange rate in Zambia bad.Actually the govt can save money if they rehabilate the training facilities in Maamba, why shud we alway be camping in SA?what country are we?I see no reason why we shud camp in SA if there are no quality friendlies lined.

I am usually quite critical of FAZ, but ba Chipungu come on? Do you get involved this deep in the affairs of the Cricketers or the Motorsports? Be constructive with the criticism. Do I think Kalu should be in Zambia? Of course, but I’m sure FAZ can internally sort that out. Go Zambia! We are organizing a viewing party in Washington, DC this Saturday, even though it will be at 8am! That just means we should start drinking kuma 4 am!
Ba Fifa nimwe Maamba, gone are those days we used to camp in Maamba. Things have changed. Do you know how many hours it takes one to drive to Maamba? Algeria are currently camping in France(Marseille),Nigeria are in Europe Drc just before the won Chan had camped in S.A. Why beat around the bush i’m sure you know why the team is in South Africa.
Sibs!!! Zambia s problems, and needs are far much different from the needs and problems while wants might be similar .I dont think the idea of copy and paste always yields positive results.

WAIT UNTIL RWANDA THUMP US. THIS IS THE BEGINNING OF OUR END. GOOD LUCK ALGERIA AND EGYPT
MUNAILE IS UNDERMINING KALU
How ba Justice??i dont think Zambian football needs Kalu as its Admnistrator if he doesnt live in Zambia. That is disregard of the highest order.
Chipunga thinks Kalu should be licking his boots! voooow!
Tekwesha mwandi, it is you who has a name to protect and the way to protect it is by doing what you know best scoring for Zambia kanofye ingachashupa. This far you have come Zambia needs your eperience and charisma on positions and people will give you the vote because you give them back-a true performer you are(Abraham lincoln, Mahatma Ghandi, Mandela-men of great leadership, clout and charisma-what they stood for-those men quickly and unselficiously enshirined into the constitutions of America, India and South Africa in that order, thats just an example-thats what some great leaders of Africa failed to do, they threw away the aspirations of the people’s, todate these people seem to be ’still discovering who they realy are’. Son of our soil, nshaishiba amalumbo kutinakulumba, African Footballer of the Year 1988. There are many Zambians who can be praised, dead and alive Godfrey Nkumbula- the man who formed the first African lead political party in Zambia, the ANC way back in 1948 on the Copperbelt. President kaunda knows better how much Nkumbula did to bring independence to Zambia, him and Kapwepwe facilitated KK’s leadership and they continued in their right to aspire for leadership and offered checks and balances before, the one politics took the world by storm.
Just on football aiyi, and on the unpalatable obsession of Chipunga with Kalu I think Kalu and his team at FAZ, your supporters, the coach and the players are going to give our country a birth to the ultimate world stage of football, were great countries parade proudly. Oh God how marvellous this prospect, Zambia the country that helped to liberate its neighbouring countries, well since we cant become an economic giant and we go to South Africa to check High Blood Pressure!
Now, I speak against hypocrisy and the ‘slave mentality’ which the western world bestowed upon us through the divide and rule device. Colonialism crumbled but what has remained is colonial style of leadership. Our leaders become the colonisers of the fellow black man. We have mastered the art of despotism-we in leadership want to suppress, segregate, discriminate, oh they can make you buy your groceries through a small window. Mandela was released from prison but he never forgot that it was after a long 27 years. You Zambian people of many tribes, we will beat Egypt and Algeria whose ancestors brought condemnation amongst us when they took some of our own brothers into slavery to drive the development of the Western economies into industrialization; when slave labour was no longer needed, the abolition of the slave trade came, careful.
Yes, Hannif Adams likes football and not cricket, at least some of the money that he makes from his Night Clubs where our young men and women and desperate old have contracted or transmitted HIV and so on and so forth, you may argue that they go there willingly-but they really just went to drown their sorrows-whatever, its some mischief, mischief of beings. Ffootball helps to clear Hanniff’s conscious and he must be a donor of money to Chipungu’s political organization. What a catholic in Chipunga who feels belittled when a priest of the poor speaks of the poor people’s desperation in the mercy of Chupungu’s hands.
Our football is doing well without the sports politician making daily communications with the football associations’ president! It means limited political interference has allowed our game to blossom. Can you attest to that factor Mr Mulonga, Kasunga and Simaataa
I believe Teddy Mulonga did all he could, Evaristo Kasunga, Tom Mtine, Simmataa Simaata-all these men are the ones kalu emulates, they created the structures or otherwise and of course the young man has immense experience with football from all over the globe. Who to run our football please! The men I have mentioned will do well to protect Kalu and prepare to share in the glory when we qualify to the World Cup.
And there are other people we can still honour with the top job at FAZ the list includes Mr Sunday Nkonde, Munaile, Simaata and all other men who would like to serve their country. Inga ninshiiiiiiiii wemuntu wankanda waipatila!
Mr Chipungu’s mind is ‘divided and ruled’ and that’s why he does not appreciate the little things we see every day in Europe- in England all professional teams, small towns, and villages have dissent stadia and a patriotic home town support who watch the games. Improve the stadia Mr chipunga from which we can watch the games and you will have stopped being ‘divided and ruled’, that’s the first thing before the need for a stationed FAZ president.
You can also try to go to India you sure will never be respected the way you want to respect Mr. Adams. Hypocrite of the west order! Umulomoooooooo!
and ama MP
SORRY FOR THOSE POLITICAL AND MONEY INTERESTS IN U football federation…i hope the AMAVUBI TECHNICAL TEAM will exploit those weaknesses and DISPLINE THE chipolopolo…AMAVUBIIIIIIIII
@FIFA
Fifa whiles i undestand that Zambia’s problems and needs are different from others. But if the Coach & players feel them camping away from home is good for them then lets respect that. The other pressures that come with camping at home. I just gave an example of other countries not that we should do it just because they doing it of course they have their own reasons.
What do you mean ba Justice. Please elaborate.
grow up…. i thought you were a grown up man now what makes you different from chipungu. i think you are worse than him… talk football please
Guys,
Chipungu May not be proper;y handling sports matters but on the issues regarding FAZ, he is very right i has my support.
FAZ want to operate as if they are the untouchables. they know that they need Govt’s support to meet international fixtures but it seems they feel like they can do it on their own. recently, RB invited the corporate world to support in raising funds for the national team. however no one can condone the way Kalu turned down the initiative from Zain and Multichoice. Kalu behaved like he never played professional football to understand that even corporate entities use fundraising ventures to advertise their products and services.
if u dont know, there is more mathematics at FAZ than in a bureau de change.
Anyway am here to contribute on the coming Game.
Rwanda’s Game will be an attacking approach and am worried about our defence if they will be able to contain that pressure. is there anyone who can come up with a ghost line up esp the defense?
am still not confident about Mbesuma… he cud bully the opponents defense but i doubt if he can create goes let alone score. i was of the idea that singuluma be given a chance and Felix Katongo should this time attack from the mid not the flanks. Free kicks must be left to Kalaba and this time try to force alot of corners coz i think Jacob Mulenga can handle headers with Cpt Chris. i have no if Mayuka shud start because i still have issues with that kid.
lets keep tokin
Kolokombwa mwaiche wandi this minister has always caused problems before important games and I should say I am tired of him. Before the games he is silent but when we about to play he starts his nonsense. This man is going to drive Zambian soccer into the grave. Just think of it we have suffered for a long time trying to rebuild and after all these years and just when we are about to be there
As for Adam he sells players from LD as he wishes, he pockets all the cash, that is hi life, he lives out of the young players. He may seem a good man but I do not think so
@kadzidzi wa nzelu
Zain and their SMS crap can not be supported by anyone with 5 common senses. The poor Zambians to be paying for sponsorship, why?
Grow up. Start by cleaning your house before you ask me to do so. I am not for Chipungu cause he talks too much and at the wrong time through the wrong media. If Chipungu wants to be FAZ President let him come out in the open. Chipungu is Sports Minister and not minister of football. There were problems in boxing and yet Chipungu has never said anything, akoselele pali bola. If he has issues with Kalu why can’t appraoch him directly instead of ama indirect. This man is a problem
Chipungu and your supporters can you please release the report regading the GABON AIR CRASH, we are still waiting. Palya ponse sure
Justice,
wot Zain did is just to widen the net…those zambians that are not ready to send the sms are free not to do so and those that can do it are also free to do so…. wot FAZ shud have said was pls from ur profits y not reap back to the community
Fine but that is not sponsorship. Let Zain find another name then there will be no problem
Ati Kalu runs to FIFA, ba FIFA bali kusoka mune and to be frank they can still carpet you. All this interferring will end up negatively. Ba FIFA taba fwaya Govt uku la teka FAZ and we all know this. Kalu stays in SA yes that is where his girlfriend lives. Why should this be an issue as long as FAZ are doing fine I do not see a problem. Let us discuss issues of progress
Zamfoot and all those I know to be real bloggers I wish to apologise for my offensive language. I was very mad na Chipungu pantu lyose fye he is doing the same
Mr. Chipungu is cfrying over the high gate takings.
Suprisingly all the tickets printed have been booked, meaning the high price is not an issue. In fact am told the tickets are not even enough to catter for people chasing to buy them.
Chipungu whats your problem Kanshi?
Justice,
the surprising part is that there is already a considerable response from the general public
@kadzidzi wa nzelu
Of course the public want to support FAZ and our team, while Zain will be making profits using chipolopolo as a brand name. Infact there is no difference in asking fans to contribute directly from their pockets
I think referring to Hanif as a slave trader is a bit too strong. I detect a tinge of racism as well ! Hanif runs Lusaka Dynamos as football should be run – sustainably. He sells players yes, but they go to better clubs and earn a better living than they would have in Zambia. Dont forget that he also spends money grooming these players – thats called an investment. So when he sells and gets a return on his investment, surely theres no crime in that. If those returns also help him to live well, then well and good. I dont think he has ever pretended that he is running a charity. He makes money in an honest business which is above board. Making money in a legitimate way is not a dirty business. If you look at the number of players he has groomed, you will notice that you have been unfair on him.
@Kolokombwa
Iwe naiwe kolokombwa can you mention 2 players Adams has groomed and sold? and to which clubs?
personally i think haniff has contributed to zambian football positively.Let’s give credit were it is due..
Billy Mwanza was groomed by Adams, Philemon Chipeta, Perry Mutapa – sold to Farense in Portugal, Sashi Chalwe, Lameck Njovu, Kalililo Kakonje, Alex Namazaba, Hichani Himoonde, Wiliam Njovu, Masauso Tembo – I will give you more as i remembe, but just know that all these have moved to better clubs, whether locally or abroad.
I understand my Brother Justice’s fury as for sure, the Honourable Minister a good friend of mine ought to be more professional in handling FAZ or is it Kalu. How come the President is quiet on this whole Chipungu saga-reminds me of the DORA saga (maybe TOO LITTLE TOO LATE as and when he acts). I think it is more than meets the eye. Whether we like it or not, the MINISTRY is a stakeholder in soccer and derserves an ear as long as it doesn’t border on political interference. FIFA also need to draw a divinding line between interference from the government and insolence from FAZ otherwise it breeds a fertile ground for corruption in FAZ.
However i beg to differ with my brother Justice on Hanif as his passion for soccer i have seen since 1979 and he doesn’t receive alms like others and his is purely based on a sustainable business model and transparently unlike some invisible “SLAVE TRADERS we all know. Hanif has always been developmental (as i saw with the help he would give to friends while i was at UNZA between 1985 and 1990 that played for him while i played for BP in the Amateur league). In him is some good business acumen as can be seen from the DISCO business model from QUISTIC to CLOUDS to VALENTINOS to the present day outings all smelling of sustainability like LD that he has single handedly sponsored something even Ba Justice (Brave) and I (Kalampa) are yet to do with the big number of other fans in place.
Going forward, i urge all stakeholders to bury their differences so that we move forward as one.
@Sibs
Profesionalism and maturity must be enhanced at all levels. Those are many and not school kids.if Players cant stay focussed, then they are not worth representing and wearing the national team colours.Zambia is playing at home and they go camp in South Africa-I really dont see sense in that.If they were to play some quality friendlies I would say yes.
hey guys thats the problem with this chipungu guy he dont have timing for time and what is ahead of us on saturday he just open his mouth recklesly.let him just concentrate on politiking, but never should he forget that we are watching them, that how they steal because the think by the time we realise the 10 billion is gone, forget chipungu you are let.we know because that the same tactics dora improred ,but not with sports ministry.more money was given by business community, dont steal otherwise!
