Struggling Power Dynamos will host the ‘Go and Conquer Boys’ Green Buffaloes at Arthur Davies Stadium. Elsewhere bottom placed Nakambala Boys awaits the visit of coach less Zamtel who did not fulfill last weekend’s fixture due to ‘financial problems,’ while Young Arrows and Konkola Blades will lock horns at Lusaka’ Nkoloma Stadium.

Power Dynamos v Green Buffaloes (The match will be shown live on Supersport)

Power Dynamos: Recent Form- L D L D W L

Green Buffaloes: Recent Form- W W D L W W

Power Dynamos has only collected 15 points from a possible 30 and in the last six fixtures, the Ndeke boys have only recorded a win and are lying 13th on the form table. On African Freedom Day, the Mohammad Fathy coached side lost 1-0 to Zesco United in the ‘Battle of the Copperbelt.’

The Egyptian-born and ex-Kabwe Warriors coach will be banking on the reigning Zambian Player of Year Kennedy Mudenda who is yet to hit top form and Simon Bwalya. Elson Mkandawire and Luka Lungu will be twinned upfront while Sitali Mubita will be play making in the engine room.

While Power will be without Francis ‘Mr Reliable’ Kasonde, Buffaloes will have to do without captain marvel Dennis Banda and head coach George Lwandamina. The trio are with national team in South Africa.

Alfred Lupiya will stand in for Lwandamina and hope to infuriate the Kitwe giants’ first defeat in front of their ever demanding fans.

Brian Lubaba, Sebastion Mwansa, John Musukwa and club leading scorer Edward Musebu will key be for this encounter.

Prediction: Power 1-2 Buffaloes

Nakambala Leopards v Zamtel (Nakambala Stadium)

Nakambala: D L L L L L

Zamtel: L D L W W L

The ‘Sugar Boys’ will want to take advantage of Zamtel’s woes who has just lost Linos Makwaza as head coach. Makwaza is being tipped to take over from Mohammad Fathy at Arthur Davies after the fans have lost patience with the ‘Pharoah.’

It is not clear if Zamtel will fulfill this feature after the players boycotted last week game due to unpaid allowances by management.

Prediction: Nakambala 1-0 Zamtel

Lusaka Dynamos v Choma Eagles (Queensmead Stadium)

Lusaka Dynamos: W L D W W D

Choma Eagles: L D W W D W

Both sides have lost only once in their last six matches so this should be an even contest. Three times capped Makundika Sakala is on fire and thanks to his goals, ‘The Elite’ under Wesley Mondo are placed on a respectable eighth position.

Makundika has five goals to credit and will be assisted by Stanely Nshimbi upfront.

Keegan Mumba’s Choma based side is above their opponents on the log and a point behind not so powerful Power Dynamos.

In one of the battles of the match, Egypt 2006 Afcon debutant Lameck Njobvu will be going head to head against Eagles skipper and one of last year’s revelation Kebby Hachipuka in the middle of the pack.

Prediction: Lusaka Dynamos 1-1 Choma Eagles

City of Lusaka v Roan Utd (Woodlands Stadium)

City: W L D L D L

Roan: L W W D L W

Luanshya based side Roan United will led by Ben Mwanza as they search for a successive league win in as many games. If you watch to Zambia v Rwanda match click here OR the banners.

City ya Moto as the Chilenje based outfit prefer to be called will depend on Kennedy Chola for goals while Ackson Phiri will marshal the defence.

Prediction: City 0-1 Roan United

Young Arrows v Konkola Blades (Nkoloma Stadium)

Young: L D L L L L

Blades: W D D D L L

After a string of poor results, Konkola Blades axed head coach Peter Kaumba during the week. Kaumba only managed to propel the border town based side two victories and three draws in his short spell as Blades coach.

For the junior airmen, Chelston based has been a shadow of themselves. Last season at this stage, they were flying high at the top of the log. But after losing Lyianga Chiwanki and Judge M’kandawire to ‘Big Brother’ Red Arrows, the Alfred Mulao side hasn’t looked the same. The ZAF sponsored side has only managed a draw in their last six fixtures.

Prediction: Young 1-0 Blades

Kabwe Warriors v Forest Rangers (Railway Ground)

Warriors: W W D L W L

Forest: W L W W L D

Promoted side Forest Rangers started well and was slowly being touted as this year’s surprise package but it now looks like top flight pressure is taking its toll as the ZAFFICO sponsored team could only manage a draw last week.

Ex-under 20 call up Alex Mwiche will partner ex-Kasama Boys striker Kameta Mutambo upfront. Mutambo is second leading scorer in the league, three behind Zanaco’s Congolese-born predator, Patrick Kabamba.

Warriors’ coach Chabby Chabala will be on tenterhooks to win the hearts of the Railway ground faithful after the ‘Njanji ni njanji’ boys’ below par campaign so far.

Prediction: Warriors 1-2 Forest

Chambishi v Zanaco (Chambishi Stadium)

Chambishi: D D L W L W

Zanaco: D W L W W W

Aggrey Chiyangi’s Chambishi host Wedson Nyirenda’s Zanaco with the bankers looking to maintain the grip at the summit of the league.

Wadda Wadda has an array of talent in attack with Kabamba leading the attack upfront alongside another ex-Kasama Boys striker Winstone ‘Quimba’ Kalengo in attack.

Prediction: Chambishi 0-2 Zanaco
