JC and CIROC, we have had players that grew up in France but ended up playing for Algeria/Morocco. If it allows us to call Patrick, let's go for it. I have spoken to Patrick and i get the impression he has acclimatised into the Zambian culture.

Gents Kabamba is good. His scoring appetite can only be compared to the ZPL all time scoring greats like Kelvin Mutale(who if my memory is right netted over 30 goals for Nkana in 1992),Kennerth Malitoli,Linos Makwaza,Paul Chellah,Ackson 'Scad' Shimbala,Mwape Miti,Kellies Mwaba,Musole Sakulanda,Frazer Kamwandi etc.If we can get him for Chipolopolo lets go for it, issues of allegence are not neccesary

guys.. I don't see why we would want Kabamba in our national team set up. If anything, he is a great positive for the growth of our local leagues. We should be like other European leagues and embrace foreign talent choosing to ply their trade in Zambia. They bring competition and we shouldn't let blind jealousy stop future players from wanting to come to our league. Let the man play for Congo!

Colleagues

Let us be careful. Those players who play for france, went to france when they were toddlers and are virtually french in all respectives. Their allegiance is to France.

Kabamba came to Zambia in the last three to four years as an already grown adult. He is far from being intergarted in the Zambian way of live. He ha grown up congolese all his life and his allegiance is therefore to Congo. You may find that you poach him, tommorrow he signs for a french side as a congolese player.

<a href="#comment-122215" rel="nofollow">@I saw Kalusha play </a>

Is this Kabamba guy far better than players like Given or Jacob? If yes then Faz should give him an opportunity. If he's at the same level with our players then there is no need to "rope him in".

MALAWI BEAT
RWANDA 2-0

And I believe Rwada used the first team Which is likely to feature against the CHIPOLOPOLO, and believe me if ZAMBIA is going to be ogernised as expected, the game against Rwanda is going to finish 4-nil in favour of Zambia.

I agree with Police Monk, why can't FAZ learn from France and other big European teams which adopt players. For instance portugal have Deco (Brazil), Nani (Cape Verde)and France's 2006 FIFA World Cup starting 11 comprised of more than half of the players with african origin: Abidal, Patrick Veira, Claude Makelele, Sydney Govou, Florent Malouda, Lilian Thuram and the man himself who has proved to be one of the world's best footballers Zinedine Zidane.

We understand Kabamba is a Congolese, a player from the DRC has featured for Zambia before (Matthews "Papa" Kamwashi") even this time FAZ should consider securing his services because there is nothing wrong with adopting players.

Kabamba has shown he is a good striker by consistently scoring goals, he's not a flash in the pan. He's been banging in goals for the last 3 seasons, that is when you know the chap is quality.

On a less positive note, I see the curse of the 0-0 draw has returned to our league. 4/7 games finished 0-0, that's not a good sign.
