Chamz :I think Singuluma, Collins, Felix, Sunzu should come home and feature as guest players if things are not working out. In this way, they will stay fit, I am sure with the World Cup and Afcon other teams will get them. What they need now is fitness, dedication and displine.

Chamz though I understand your point this thing of guest player is actually illegal as long as the players present club does not loan him to a Zambian club during the break. Some players have featured as guest players for Zambian clubs without even informing the clubs they are contracted to. Problems can arise when a player sustains serious injuries. Who is going to pay for treatement, a Zambian club. It is important that when one intends to play as a guest player, they sort this oone with the clubs that own them before enganging themselves
My other point is that guest players do deprive the opportunities of our local young players who are on the verge of progressing by confining them to the bench, and at the sametime it creates confusion within clubs
In my opinion the guest player thing should not be encouraged at all, as football has regulation
Cheers

I agree so much that you will remember i had a problem when Dominic played for LD in the BP tournament, that just kills team spirit

Collins Mbesuma will know by Friday whether Mamelodi Sundowns will keep him for next season. His contract with ‘The Brazilians’ expires at the end of June.

The Zambian international striker signed a one-year contract with Sundowns at the beginning of the 2008/09 season, with an option, at Sundowns’ discretion, to renew it for two years.

Ntofontofo’s agent, Francesco Ferreri of ProSport International, says Sundowns have informed him that Mbesuma’s future will be decided by the end of this week.

“I had a meeting with them yesterday and they told me that they will come back to me on Friday to tell me whether they are going to exercise the option or not, meaning to keep him or let him go.

“They have until May 31 to exercise the option and I believe it will be in their interest to keep the player as I believe he is still has a lot to offer,” he tells KickOff.com.

Mbesuma scored five goals in 11 starts for Sundowns the past season.
