Egypt will be favourites to get their World Cup qualification campaign off to a winning start when they host Zambia on Sunday. The two teams last clashed in January 2008 at the Nations Cup in Ghana, which ended in a 1-1 draw.

Zambia's opponents in the 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifier played to a goalless draw in Kigali. Minnows Rwanda held Algeria in the opening fixture.
And elswhere in the other groups, Gabon and Togo produced the outstanding results on the opening day of the final round of African qualifying for the World and Nations Cups in 2010.
The two teams lead the way at the top of Group A after securing dramatic wins over Morocco and Cameroon respectively.

Zambian Premier League side Zanaco thumped Lusaka Dynamos 5-0 in Saturday's league match.
On loan Congolese striker Patrick Kabamba who started in place of Given Singuluma scored a hatrick and became the second player this season to snatch a hatrick after his teammate Jack Chileshe also got one last in the 3-1 win over Young Arrows.
