Zambian Premier League side Zanaco thumped Lusaka Dynamos 5-0 in Saturday’s league match.
On loan Congolese striker Patrick Kabamba who started in place of Given Singuluma scored a hatrick and became the second player this season to snatch a hatrick after his teammate Jack Chileshe also got one last in the 3-1 win over Young Arrows.
Chileshe and Ignitius Lwipa got the other guys in a match the bankers showed attacking prowess. It is also worth noting that defensive midfielder, Sydney Kalume had a eye catching game against his former team, Dynamos.
At Nkoloma Stadium, goals from Kruger Mwansa and Lemmy Tembo propelled Young Arrows to a 2-1 win over the Sugar Boys, Nakambala Leopards.
Green Buffaloes were stunned at home by promoted side Forest Rangers. Forest won 1-0.
On the Copperbelt, leaders Power Dynamos needed an injury time goal from in form striker Luka Lungu to salvage a point against Chambishi who were playing their first match this season. Power are still unbeaten with 7 points.
Elsewhere, Kabwe Warriors lost 1-0 to champions Zesco United courtesy of a Silini Jere header. In Chililabombwe, Konkola Blades beat Roan United by the same margin.
City of Lusaka recorded their first win of the campaign after they narrowly beat Zamtel social 2-1 in Ndola.
