Tuesday’s Paper Picks

Zambianfootball.net's columinist Ba Muzo compiles extracts from the back pages of the main papers and a bit of Kachepa from the Zamfoot Crew. “Yesterday I watched the Egypt – Zambia match and I was impressed from several players, mainly the left back who now plays in Armenia - Emmanuel Mbola. Felix Katongo was excellent as well, and of course more players had caught my eye.” an International scout wrote to Zamfoot. And still on Emmanuel Mbola, senior players duo of Joseph Musonda and Chintu Kampamba are believed to have been stunned by the heroics and performance of the Armenian based left back in what was the youngster’s biggest game. According to sources, the duo thought the player who never tested top flight football in Zambia would fell to rise to the occasion but alas he stood firm and impressed . This was his fourth international cap after making his debut in a friendly against DR Congo. He also played both legs against Angola in the CHAN Qualifier. (Zamfoot) Full story
