Guys, no sour grapes on SA who beat us pants down. Chile you shouldn't forget are on the rise and recently beat my 2nd favorite team to Spain, Los Albiceleste (ARGENTINA) tutored by an Argentine PEKERMAN who revolutionalised the Argentine team by bringing in short but tough players-TEVEZ,MESSI,MASCHERANO,RODRIQUEZ etc. Chile have a gem of a player in SANCHEZ who tormented Nigeria U20 who had just beaten Zambia U20 in Canada

Ba Josef RSA,
Awe iyo iya "Black and Non-Muslim" naikana. Bubble Malitoli is revered by Espereance to date because of hard work on the pitch and always fitting in the coach's plan. We see here that Fwayo doesn't fit in the new coach;s (AM SURE HE'S NOT MOSLEM) style. Why do we always look for akabepesho in Zambia when things go against us. Just recently Fwayo was featuring prominently and we didn't raise the racist remarks, but after losing inamba kumu South American, racism becomes an issue.

Thanks for the info Fact. That is dramatic to be at the worst position ever, but i think it's ok as it brings home the truth. Time for the present generation to realize that they are responsible for the upholding the country now. It's high time Zambia clawed back some respect and re-established itself with some solid and genuine performances.

I think on this blog and maybe people in general, we have been highly critical to the point of being too negative. The way forward is a two pronged affair, the current team and the future standard of football. We need to ensure a much higher standards for future and that is what we look to Kalusha to do for the game right now.

He can do it, but his player reputation won't do it for him. We know what the problems are, but it's going to take serious and sustained groundwork for a real plan of action to make a difference. Who is actually going to do this? How many people work at FAZ, who does what? Who is going to actually access and communicate the developments that should be implemented and maintained through out the country, because it must be more than giving new jerseys and footballs to a team. Sure, sponsorship deals, the normal running of the game and other things take the attention of the admin, will they also be able to insure this big development for the future? Maybe they should bring in help?

There is talent, thats why we can't accept this current predicament.

It's not right to discount the current team, if the organization is there then we can compete for something.

National Assembly at Barclays?? Not even a Premier Division team? We are going to be slaughtered by Egypt and our ranking will be even worse. It is time to take action.

I agree with Apples & Oranges, we don't fully understand the level of football being played in these 'small' European and North African nations. Compared to the Zed Premier and even SA it is a huge jump and we need to accept that the caliber of our local league is poor. Guys, please ask yourself why so many of our pro's (both past and present) don't want to play for Zed. The answer is simple. They are given a raw deal by FAZ. We have over 10 former professionals lounging in Europe and not willing to assist because they know that their efforts will just be thwarted. We need a complete overhaul of Zed football to stop this slide.

Zamfoot, any news on the proposed sponsorship deals or should we not hold our breath. Also, my post of the other day has disappeared, that is the fourth one? Why is this happening?
