Singuluma (jersey 15 in the picture) is believed to have impressed in Finland and is expected to head back after the CHAN finals in Ivory Coast to sign a three year deal.
“He is supposed to go back in two weeks time to sign a contract but that won’t happen because of CHAN commitments. His agents (based in Sweden) are trying to convice the club for him to join after March 4 when the tournament ends in Ivory Coast,”a close source to the player told Zambianfootball.net
“He really impressed that side and he wants to go back as he feels it can be a good starting point for him to a better league in Europe,” the source added
After being released by South African side Bay United, the goal poacher returned to the local scene and Chipolopolo Boys trainer Herve Renard immediately drafted him into the local side after loosing two key strikers Emmanuel Mayuka (Israel) and Francis Kombe (South Africa). And the 22 year did not disappoint as he scored in each leg against Angola to lead Zambia to the finals via a 3-1 goal aggregate.
Also in the Chan squad which is training at Lusaka’s Barclays Sports Complex is Elijah Tana, Kennedy Nkhetani, Ignitius Lwipa and Kebby Hachipuka.
The tournament starts on February 22 and Zambia plays the first match against Ivory Coast before facing Senegal and the much improved Tanzania.

I wander what happened in SA for Singuluma to lose contract at Bay Utd when he has looked so sharp in the CHAN squad and now we are hearing that he imoressed at Haka.
Anyway good thing is that they want him in Finland and he is also available for CHAN because we are short of quality in the CHAN squad. I hop Maku doesnt make a come back.

Mabbwana, I suppose you meant Makufi come back above.
I also wonder why on earth did Bay Utd let go of this composed striker. He is strong on the ball makes swift unpreditable turns that leaves defenders lost.

No Vincent, I meant Makundika Sakala, the disappointing fellow in the SA game the other week.
I just meant to highlight that our striking options are poor such that the coach gets confused enough to pick a player from a futsal tourney.

Mabbwana, commenting is very easy to do, but playing is another. What do you expect from someone who is making a debut against a well organised team like SA in their backyard? Dont rush in judging a player based on one game,he has potential to improve though. He had a fair game. You should have looked at the positives that the player has and not the negatives.
Secondly i commend coach Renard for giving him an opportunity and i hope he doesn’t drop him for the Chan tournament so he gains that exposure that he lacks.Sunguluma and others are soon going to europe, who will remain playing in such tournaments?
Lets build the team guys and bring out real analysis of issues.

Mabbwana, Given has a short fuse and is prone to provocation. I wouldn’t be surprised if he was temperamental at Bay United and never got along with the coach.
