I think,we have lots of stadia on the C/belt to host the under-20 games in this country.Even in Lusaka(Nkoloma,W/Lands and Sunset) can host the games. Moreover,Zambian Soccer Fans are very passionate with football that every game will have lots of spectators filled up other than in SA where teams play in empty stadiums.Come On FAZ,we can do it!!,'Change we believe in'.

CHAMWE, you are right, we need to have these teams in place & make a programme to keep them active.Trials should be there but they should be meant to find talent to add value to the existing team.BANTU,we fail to host such tournaments b'coz we lack the required infrastructure. Our organisation is also suspect.I doubt if we will even manage to host the 2011 all African games

I don't understand why before a U17, U20, U20 tournament, Zambia starts having trials for these teams. We are supposed to have these teams in place already developing.

Yes Zamfoot, can you let us know how Lungu and Sinkala did in Russia. I don't think any of the results from the games that they played have been posted. I'll have a look on the web and post back here if I find anything.

My take is that these guys that are being taken to these tournaments aren't the best players. The U17 that were eliminated by Namibia had hardly any players from Edusport, Chiparamba or Afrisports these are traditionally the talent tap for our junior teams.

zambian soccer has gone to the dogs,u 17 failed to beat namibia but malawi walloped the same chaps 8-3 on goal aggregate and qualified to the africa cup ,shame on zambia.
i think i have solution for zambian soccer, its not the financial resources we lack but rather our minds, period.lets change the way we think ,not always complaining about not having money ,money is not a primary problem here, but our minds are.

We lack proper planning in zambia thats what i have observed,we can have all the financial(money)resources at our desposal but if we cant craft or plan a good strategy of how the money will be spend ,i dont see us goin anywhere.
Look at independence stadium its not that we dont have money to rebuild, but because somebody did not plan from the very beginning they thought about demolishing the grandstand.soccer is simple u dont need expensive equipments to play,so my fellow zambians lets stop complaining about money contributing to the standards of soccer going down in the country but we should,do a little bit of budgetting ,planning and change the way we think, soccer will florish again.most of us people the first thing we think of when we have money is go shopping right ,so my point is even if money for soccer was provided if u dont plan how u will use that money ,it will go to waste,

Bantu, but chachine mwana. You know you tend to lose respect when you frequent your friend's place as they say in my mother tongue's proverb. Surely we cant even host the U-20 tournament. Chibi sana. The less I say the better.

Edson read the Zambia Daily Mail there are names of players in the CHAN sqaud plus all the news of where they will play

Bantu wa lasa, it is very surprising that we are always travelling to SA for even junior championships. I do not think we will ever host anything, cause even during the days of the East and Central Senior Challenge Cup it was always other countries like Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi and Uganda who were hosts, and yet those days we had Dag and Independence stadiums. Kwati Zed bali ilowa ku Ndoshi
