2-0 penalty. What did I tell you guys? J. Musonda = useless

  3. Whisper on Wed, 19th Nov 2008 9:33 PM

Mabbwana, we look alright going forward, but defence is useless. We don’t know any positional play and our tackling is poor. I’ll give line up etc. soon.

Our play going forward is good. Impressed with Sakuhawa, Clifford and Chivuta. Jacob doing well playing upfront by himself. We have been denied to goals by flukey keeping. The ball has just hit their keeper.

    2-0

  7. Whisper on Wed, 19th Nov 2008 9:46 PM

Good freekick by Rainford comfortably saved by their keeper.

  8. Whisper on Wed, 19th Nov 2008 9:48 PM

Chris has been hacked down in the D. He is staying down, not sure who will take the freekick it is central

  9. Whisper on Wed, 19th Nov 2008 9:49 PM

Big Elijah stepped up and smashed it into the wall, nothing came of it.

  10. Whisper on Wed, 19th Nov 2008 9:53 PM

We lost possession and were almost punished in a 3 on 2 situation, fortunately they couldn’t capitalise.

    Half-tme.

We have more possesion of the ball but are not making the most of it. Our final ball has been lacking and the Moroccans are relying on counter attacks to sort us out.

Our defence is giving me palpatations, the guys are tackling with the wrong foot, they are allowing their players to run off them and simple 12′s are baffling them. I think Jacob needs some help up top, Chris is not doing much in mid, maybe he should move up or come off for Collins.

  11. KK11 on Wed, 19th Nov 2008 9:53 PM

Zambia can play with these teams, we just need to get over that “DEER IN THE HEADLIGHTS” look we get when we start games. They need to learn to settle down……..

  12. Dinamo on Wed, 19th Nov 2008 9:56 PM

Mr Zambia,Jacob & Chamanga in the team?.I hope will settledown & push in a goal.

Mabbwana, Hachipuka got a yellow early on in the game for what can best be described as a crude tackle, but he has been solid. He doesn’t look out of his depth at this level. Sakuwaha has been good. We have been using the left channel (Clifford) more than his but he has given their left back some trouble. I would say his influence started to go down as the half wore on.

Rainford has had a tidy game, he is more of a threat than Chris when joining in attack I’d say. Chivuta made a mistake for the first goal, he was dribbled and allowed their attacker to cross the ball, from there the ball was partially cleared before a shot being taken. The shot was deflected and ended up in the back of the net. Since then I have to say that Noah has been good. Him and Clifford are striking up a good understanding.

I have to say that our problems come when they attack at pace down the flanks, we aren’t able to deal with their crosses and as mentioned before we are losing our players.

Guys good job plz keep us informed

  16. Whisper on Wed, 19th Nov 2008 10:03 PM

advice for second half. Put another striker up front to help Jacob. I think that the Moroccans aren’t as solid as we have allowed them to look. We need our final ball to be better and everyime we have been allowed to cross the ball they have looked uneasy.

  17. John Chinena on Wed, 19th Nov 2008 10:04 PM

So guys wat is exactly going on r we scaring them any way

  18. Official on Wed, 19th Nov 2008 10:06 PM

Hey guys am late. But 2 a rude welcome. It seems the team is shaky. Defence has bn cited bt how r the rest b4 i start imagining the pressure has bn placd on def n kalil.

  19. Whisper on Wed, 19th Nov 2008 10:08 PM

My disappointment is that the guys who are missing are midfielders and strikers, the defenders that we have out there are our ’1st four’ so I don’t know who else we could call to improve things. Maybe Edwin Phiri would close the loophole on the right? Maybe Sichone would help, but he is at a 3rd division team in Germany?

Second half about to kick off.

How come you guys aren’t able to stream the match?

  20. John Chinena on Wed, 19th Nov 2008 10:08 PM

Line up ili shani am watchng SA and CAMRUN 2 all

  21. Whisper on Wed, 19th Nov 2008 10:14 PM

No changes. Their keeper fluffed a clearance and resulted in Sakuwaha dibbling the defender and getting to the byline. His cross was cut out.

  22. Whisper on Wed, 19th Nov 2008 10:15 PM

We seem to have upped the tempo

  23. Whisper on Wed, 19th Nov 2008 10:16 PM

again we are caught on the break by a simple 1-2. Their shot was off target

  24. Whisper on Wed, 19th Nov 2008 10:17 PM

Chris playing further forward, but still not a true striking position

  25. John Chinena on Wed, 19th Nov 2008 10:18 PM

  26. KK11 on Wed, 19th Nov 2008 10:21 PM

    who is number 20?

  27. Whisper on Wed, 19th Nov 2008 10:23 PM

I think Collins is on but I cannot confirm. I think Jacob has gone off.

It’s 50/50 at this time. We are playing too many long balls and can’t control the ball.

  28. Whisper on Wed, 19th Nov 2008 10:25 PM

    20 is Sakuwaha.

Collins is definately on for Jacob

  29. Whisper on Wed, 19th Nov 2008 10:30 PM

Nkausu on for Chivuta with J. Musonda moving to left back.

3-0. J. Musonda turned inside out before his attacker deliverd a cross that was headed in.

What is this clown still doing on the field?!!!!!! Two goals are down to him

  30. Whisper on Wed, 19th Nov 2008 10:33 PM

    Tana off for Chintu.

Sorry chaps I don’t know who is on and who is off. The screen is very small.

  31. John Chinena on Wed, 19th Nov 2008 10:36 PM

JOSEPH MUSONDA EYA SHANI IYI. THS COACH MUST DO SMTHNG

  32. Whisper on Wed, 19th Nov 2008 10:37 PM

Some good play by Collins leads to a freekick and then a corner. Zed commits a foul from the corner.

I think Clifford might also be off, but don’t take it as gospel

    Freekick to Zed, keeper saves.

We have no shape, players are just running around.

  44. Whisper on Wed, 19th Nov 2008 10:52 PM

Another freekick simple smashed into the wall.

Renard’s game plan has been poor and his subs haven’t made sense. Morocco are just playing with us now.

  45. Whisper on Wed, 19th Nov 2008 10:56 PM

The guys look tired and are just waiting for the final whistle.

  46. Whisper on Wed, 19th Nov 2008 10:56 PM

    3 mins stoppage time.

  47. Whisper on Wed, 19th Nov 2008 10:58 PM

The Moroccan #5 has cut through like a hot knife through butter and passed the ball onto his collegue who had a shot saved by Kakonje.

  49. Whisper on Wed, 19th Nov 2008 11:09 PM

Full-time, we have lost 3-0. All three goals were preventable. Two came about because our full-backs have been unable to make a tackle and have been dribbled and the other one was a crazy tackle in the box leading to a penalty.

I don’t know where to start guys. We were soundly beaten, in the end the Morocco players were just passing it around, with our guys chasing.

Renard made stupid substitutions and took off all our attacking threat, in the end we had no shape and no desire.

Collins did well when he came on, his strength caused a couple of anxious moments for them. Hachipuka did well. Sakuwaha is a revelation. Clifford looked dangerous when he was on. Rainford was alright, it looked a bit congested in the middle and he might have done better if we had moved one of our midfielders up front. Jacob was a threat, with his size and pace. It isn’t something that happens often in football but our Capt. Chris should have been subbed. He seemed more intent on fighting them than playing football. Chris is always going to try and that is a great quality to have, but I don’t think tonight was his night.

    As for the defence, well…

  50. Matafwali on Wed, 19th Nov 2008 11:11 PM

What a disappointing display from the guys. My feed was really bad so I did not get a good feel for the flow of the game. But it was clear Morocco were a heads and shoulders above our team technically. This is worrisome. This game could have been 3-0 before Zambia even touched the ball for any meaningful length of time. All of a sudden SA 2010 looks like an unattainable dream. I know we had quite a few players missing, but their replacements ought to be able to pickup the pieces.

I must point out, Mbesuma seemed very strong on the ball. I hope he continues to work on his sharpness.

    Guys good updates and thanks

Who was on goal for Morocco?

  53. McBush-USA on Wed, 19th Nov 2008 11:59 PM

This is a good practice for MaTCH for Zambia and hope the have seen how hard it will be to play Egypt and Algeria. Play another friendly with Tunisia, Sudan, Libya and Moroc again.
HR hope you have seen what to work on especially defence and strikers.

  54. Gesh on Thu, 20th Nov 2008 12:16 AM

If anyone can pliz offer a link on youtube if and when the goals are posted pa youtube..Hard luck boys;North Africa’s not an easy place to come and get a result from but i think HR should work on the team esp Algeria-am currently living in Algeria and i can tell you, these guys are leaving no stone unturned!!!! Egypt will be a tough nut to crack but if we can manage 4 or even 6 points from Algeria,we are almost home and dry;what will help us are the 2 North African clashes Egypt and Algeria will play-both these teams don’t want to lose to eachatha..we might js sneek in under Egypts noses!!!! Go CHIPOLOPOLO!!!!!

Same old rubbish. Let me tell you my opinion .

Firstly the issue about the professional players and their passports , cannot believe it , how can a professional not renew his passport or check for visa requirements , this same carelessness and lack of maturity is expressed on the field . One thing you can never change is character and its for sure .

Secondly half the zambian regulars did not even turn up . Faz needs to be more serious and they should let clubs know the consequences if they dont release these players .

Thirdly we need every professional whether in finland or playing division 2 in germany .Herne get serious and call all these players sichone , sinkala and the rest . We want every professional to be tried and tested . Forgot the bullshit politics

lets start serious preparations , this is a wake up call , north africa teams play similair so learn from this . Time to wake and stop the playing around . Cant afford to waste the zambian people’s tax money on an un fruitful campaign . be serious and teach the players about passport and visa formailities please.

  56. Onzuna on Thu, 20th Nov 2008 9:17 AM

Sad,we lost but Im sure it has given HR the need to try all Players, those in Finland,Sweden & other foreign countries .We need a goal porcher, coz we play well upto in the 18-area.
