Webster Meki, if you dont have any comment you better avoid posting anything that lecture us what to say or not.The fact that our clubs have financial hardships does not mean that we should dance to any foreign team with a bit of money. It really pains me to see a team like Power Dynamos with such a rich background dance to teams like Golden Arrows who will maybe never even attain what Power has attained on the continent.We have the talent & has we try to bring back money into the game our players shouldn’t engage practices that will make our clubs more poor.It’s very expensive to maintain players in a football club & do you think its fair for a player to deny his club to have a say & demand a reasonable fee on his move??

Here is what is on kickoff as of today.

Golden Arrows’ new-signing Francis Kombe has expressed his surprise at reports coming out of Zambia that he played illegally for Abafana Bes’thende against Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday.

KickOff.com reported earlier today that Power Dynamos claimed that Kombe had not been cleared to play for a team in South Africa.

However, speaking from Durban, the Chipolopolo Boys’ striker has set the record straight saying that he is a ‘properly registered player with Golden Arrows’.

“I got a call from the club secretary this morning asking me to clarify the story on KickOff.com. The reporter in Zambia made up his own story after I refused to give him full details about my trials in South Africa.

“If I was not cleared by Dynamos, how did Golden Arrows get my international clearance from the Zambian Football Association?”(kickoff)

There is some underhand procedures going on here. One of the partners involved in this deal is not telling the truth.

Alexander, just because Kickoff.co.za said that Arrows registered the player doesn’t mean that they did.

This is an irregular occurance. How has the player signed a contract during a period when the transfer window is shut?! If the player has a contract (in writing) with Power then he is under contract with that club and according to FIFA statutes cannot sign, never mind feature for another club. The Power secretary has no knowledge of the deal (Golden Arrows are in violation) and inorder to seal the deal FAZ would have to issue an International Transfer Certificate (Golden Arrows are in violation).

I am 100% behind Power on this one, Kombe and Arrows are acting illegally. The SA club think that we are amatures and they can treat us with contempt.

Who registered Kombe to Play for Golden Arrows? I suppose the PSL, then PSL tell us WHAT HAPPENED.Before i condemn Kombe , Power or Golden Arrows, please can someone at PSL tell us their SIDE of the Story.

The author of the story of Francis Kombe that he is playing here in South Africa illegally is a disgrace to himself.He should learn to follow things properly.According to the story published on the kickoff.co.za Kombe has been registered probably with Golden Arrows here in South Africa.Please as Zambians let us promote our players rather than demote them because if they become big on the international scene the name of Zambia is put on the world map.Remember what happened in Seoul in Korea in 1988 when Zambia beat Italy by 4 goals to zero.In fact according to football analysts that was the turning point of African soccer because two years after that Cameroun followed suit by reaching the quarter finals of the world cup.Let us each and every Zambian wherever he is promote our players and country.

Golden Arrows owe Power an explanation. How do they feature a player who they havent signed officially? Unless someone is not telling us the truth. Our Zambian players should also be more mature when handling these issues, its no right to sneak out when there are peoper channels of clearance to be followed. Lets hope the saga will be sorted out for the sake of the player and all other interested parties like Dinamo put it.

Will Kombe ever learn??.It is a well known fact that this players exodus to the PSL,Mvela,Angola & now Nigeria is money oriented & it is also appreciated that soccer is a short career & players need to utilise their pick time & earn something reasonable.But this shouldn’t be a passport for indispline.Kombe in 2002 rushed to join S/sport utd ignoring Bamfuchile’s plead to have him in the CAF cup winner cup quarter finals.The guy had a bad time in SA & was banned when he tested positive on drugs.He came back to Power & we ressurected is dead career.Today the guy is even back in the National Team & instead of following the right procedure by disclosing his intention to join the PSL so that the Power executive can put a prize tag on him & allow him to go with their blessings & also find a suitable replacement for Power 90 to remain in the tittle race,the guy decides to run away.FAZ should come in & help stop this nosense.Our clubs are going through a lot of hardships & its through these transfers were they can make a bit of money.If this is not addressed our local football is headed for a total collapse
