Clifford quits national team……wrong decision by the young man

  9. Billy SA on Mon, 8th Sep 2008 8:15 AM

Its not a big loss for the young man quitting the national team as we have enough cover in the midfielder. I would be worried if it was any of the “big” players such as Chris, Mbesuma, Chansa, Jacob, Mweene etc.

    Table Detail
Look at the table above and see where Roan United is… Why pick such a team to play with the national team which is preparing for a tough game against Togo? There are teams like ZESCO United, Red Arrows just to mention but afew.

Please FAZ let’s be serious with preparatory matches..

Ba Chiluba Mwape .This was just a training game it was not even a friendly game. These guys are on the Copper belt so they could not Red Arrows you may have a point on Zesco. That’s if Zesco are willing to travel to Kitwe or Chillies.

The guys could not play any country over the weekend cos most teams were in action over the weekend. We can’t read much from the game cos it was just part of training.

  12. Vincent Numbwa on Mon, 8th Sep 2008 10:19 AM

Nikolai my bro, Please! Mbesuma should play we need to seperate boys from men.

Sorry Sibs I had mistakenly referred to you as being in agreement with Nikolai on Mbesuma not to be play when in effect were for Mbesuma playing in my comments on friday.

I saw the National team yesterday in Chingola shoprite. I must confess Mbesuma was looking great, the guy has really lost some good Kilos.

  13. Hurricane Ike on Mon, 8th Sep 2008 10:26 AM

Sibs, Mwape is right!! there’re better teams on the copperblet which would given the teams a good run. We’ll see on wednesday, if this training march was worth it.

  14. Sibs on Mon, 8th Sep 2008 11:09 AM

Hurricane Ike it’s true the other better teams to have played on C.B but we haven’t been told why the did not arrange games with Zesco or even Power D.

Vincent Numbwa i was actually surprised but no prob my man i thought you never read my earlier comment. Is Stophira Sunzu there ? I read in the Times of Zambia that he played against Roan. I thought he was still in France.

  15. Vincent Numbwa on Mon, 8th Sep 2008 12:49 PM

Sibs I did not see the entire team, amonst da players I saw Stophira was not there Iam not sure if he is in the team also.
