Togo lost to DR Congo 2-1. I haven’t seen any comments about this score. Togo needed an Adebbayor penallty to get the one goal. I am not sure if this can be used as a minimal moral booster to our boys that even with the great Adebayor Togo are very much beatable and that we will shock them like we did bafana bafana in Capetown. Anybody had the chance to see the Togo Dr Congo game, any comments on the quality of the Togolese game??

Mwape C I really cant work out the reasoning behind your comment. What are you saying that if a players club is playing a game and that player makes the starting line up this is a valid reason to not report for national duty?? C’mon my man listen to yourself here. half of the players in the big teams at Afcon are regulars in Euurope and yet come to afcon for almost a month, so becuase there teams need them in your mind it is valid that they miss afcon?? I think FAZ thinks somewhat like you and that is why we cant assemble a full strength squad on a fifa sanctioned day. Sorry to say but your reasoning here gets a -30 out of a 10 grade.

Maybe even Nelson Banda, a striker must be able to dribble and have foresight, i have never seen him dribble or even make a clever pass, but then again its merely my opinion, they say all goals are great, if he plays on the 6th and scores, il praise him for scoring, if not, well expect me to say “i told you kola li planga”

Kola is a chancer, no service no work rate, he isnt a striker, just lucky periodically to be in the right place at the right time. Did u see the whooping miss when he and Jacob failed to find the net? nonsense, he reminds me of paul chela

To me Kola has never impressed he nids 2 try defence maybe. Striker instincts are with kombe & mayuka the body is with kola

Mwape C, the players missing are alot more than you have assumed. Mweene, Musonda Joseph, Isaac, Chamanga, plus the two you have mentioned are but some of the players missing. Adding to that, Renard seems to have been biased towards a central defensive partnership of Chintu and Billy. I think he should have been using these games to consolidate partnerships instead of continuing to experiment with players seeing that we have just a few days before the game. Anyway we dont know who came in for who after the 6 substitutions.

Majic!! i beg to disagree with you on the 40% issue, if you look at the team line up only Chris and Jacob did not play if you compare with the Swazi game.
and if you look at the reasons why those two did not come they are very genuine, Chris played in a bundersliga game created a goal and played for 90 min. jacob skippered his side in ligue 1 game, i feel that experience will be Vital as our boys are getting interenational recognition…….Go Chipolopolo

Am happy with the results despite the mourning of our president.Looking at Renard.I think he shud make use of our players based there.And of my worrying factor is on this side the team played with.This shud not make us very happy by the results.After all there is much more to do in making the formidable team.Already from the look of things,Tana the captain of that match does not seem with gud combination with chintu and billy,hence as it stands we don’t know who shall be the formidable defence during togo match

My Question is do these two goals Kola has scored contribute to his tally on the top scorers chart. If so why dont goals scored during friendly matches with local clubs count towards one’s tally on the scorers table. Please people help me out also, are caps given for these friendlies with clubs, i have noticed in other countries they only award caps for Games played againist National Teams. Iam worried about Renard playing players out of position, come the Togo Game those players will struggle and we will be busy condemning them.
