Football Association of Zambia, FAZ has confirmed that Chipolopolo Boys’ friendly against Germany side VfL Kirchheim is on as scheduled, despite the sudden death of Republican President, Levy P. Mwanawasa SC earlier in the today.
The match kicked off at 19:00 local time.
Two scouts from Bundesliga two sides and former Moses Sichone’s team FC Cologne are in the stands watching the watch.
Germany based striker Chris Katongo and Jacob Mulenga of Berrichonne Chateauroux were only poised feature in Thursday’s cancelled friendly against SV Bonlanden, a team which plays in the sixth tier of Germany.
FAZ has also cancelled this weekend’s league fixtures as a sign of respect for the late President.
Meanwhile Collins Mbesuma might make his long awaited debut for Mamelodi Sundowns against Supersport United this Saturday in the semi finals MTN Top 8.
Sundowns are carrying a 2-1 goal aggregate from the first leg.

Zambian team we have played with referees over so many times this time just go for goal ,if you remember Deramba and what happened to Great KULU as coach in TOGO where he was given a RED card and FIFA refused to honour it and the all world at large cried fule.
