Hachilensa, Billy Mwanza eyeing South Africa’s PSL sides.

Zambianfootball.net understands and can reveal that International defenders Clive Hachilensa and Billy Mwanza are on the verge of clinching deals with South African Premier Soccer League sides.

‘Billie..billie!! Despite being frozen on the sidelines by Golden Arrows last season, the hard tackler was always committed in a Chipolopolo Jersey.

According to sources in South Africa, one of the defenders might join compatriots Linos Chalwe and Given Singuluma at promoted side Bay United next week.

After an 8 months stint in Finland last year, Hachilensa returned and is featuring for Zesco United but hasn’t received much game time.

Despite his lack of games, ‘The Tonga Bull’ is one of the fittest players currently preparing for Cosafa Senior Challenge Cup judging from the training sessions.

Crowd favourite Billy Mwanza is at the moment clubless after failing to agree personal terms with another PSL side Golden Arrows where he has been playing since 2005.

Mwanza is set to captain the Chipolopolo Boys in this Sunday Cosafa Cup quarter final against Zimbabwe.

Chintu Kampamba left the country yesterday for United Arab Emirates where he is expected to sign for unknown club, though Al Jazira has been mentioned.

While Sebastian Mwansa is heading to Norway for trials and Stophira Sunzu is attending trials in France.

Rodger Kola and Emmanuel Mayuka have pending moves abroad.

Do you think going back to South Africa is ideal for either of the defenders? Have your Say.

Considerng the current state of affairs I think a return to the PSL would be good especially for Clive who has not seen game time even in the local league. If he stays in Zambia his career may just die out. As for Billy I think his raw defending style is what PSL coaches are looking for, so I never thought gettting back would be an issue. Bwalya, I dont agree with you on that one, Billy is the best defender we have got????

Playing active football is the key here. More scouts look at the PSL so this may help them get some exposure to some Potentail European suitors

There you have it, Hachilensa is now going to play in the Mvela League, RSA’s equivalent of our Division 1, wrong move if you ask me, anyways he career is almost over maybe he should make his money and invest it wisely

Billy deserves better ! Cant Renard himself source European clubs to take on the young man. Even division 2 in France where Renard came from is not bad!
