Emmanuel Mayuka’s scored from a curling freek kick to make it 1-0 in the 5th Minute.

And Mayuka then turned provider when his cross was headed by Daniel Kasongo four minutes later.

Dinumitive City of Lusaka striker Morgan Kaoma impressed while there was a few glimpses of Banda ‘Thierry’ Henry. The exciting wing wizard was substituted late  in the game.

Final score: Mauritius 0-2 Zambia.

A possible tie against Egypt awaits the Junior Chipolopolo in the next round with winner qualifying to Rwanda 2009 African Youth Cup.

    Its always good to hear such great coming from our beloved sport “Football nangu Bola” but for Egypt we’ll need to use all best players because the Egyptians they player better football then these Islanders who we just beat 2-0 ortherwise congratulations to our young team, job well done.
