Zambia national team trainer Herve Renard believes Chinese based striker James ‘Chama Boy’ Chamanga is a better option on the right wing.
‘Chama Boy’s impressive display on the right flank served the Chipolopolo from bowing out of the 2010 African/World Cup qualifier.
“I used him on the flanks in a friendly match against Power Dynamos on Wednesday(last week before the Swaziland match) and he accounted himself well,” Renard told Zambianfootball.co.cc
“I think he is better on the wings. I ‘ll consider him for that role in the next games,” he added
His introduction in the 73 minute for Stophira Sunzu proved to be a key tactical change for the Frenchman.
The 28 year old terrorised the Swazi left full back. First, the former National Assembly player’s square pass was fluffed by Jacob Mulenga and Rodger Kola as the duo failed to tap it in.
Then his second teasing lay off from the right wing was handled in box and it turned out to be the crucial moment as the Chipolopolo were awarded a spot kick.
Chris Katongo slotted it home to give Zambia the valuable three points.
