Finnish based strkier Nchimunya Mweetwa, 24, has been ruled out for two months after sustaining a knee injury in a league match against TPS.
Mweetwa is on the books of promoted side RoPS. Since the Veikkausliiga will be on recess for a month due to the Euro, the 24 year old will only miss four league matches.
The lanky former Kitwe and Zesco United striker has been on song ever since joining the finnish side last year.
His 17 goals in 25 games last season propelled RoPs back to the Finnish top flight. Already this season the the man the ‘Buchi Boys’ nicknamed ‘Drogba’ has scored three goals in seven matches, one behind the top scorer.
The other Zambians at RoPS are Zeddy Saileti, defender Stephen Kunda, midfilders Chanda Mwaba and Chileshe Chibwe. And all of them have featured in seven league matches.
RoPs have 12 points from 8 games played and are lying fifth on the 14 team log, 8 points behind the league leaders FC Inter.

Big Steve from SA sys:
I totally agree. At this point he should already be top of the list with getting assesed by national selectors rather than selectors who are die hard fans of players who have hardly had game time.
