Dear Kebby Salisimu, (or is it Teddy Mulonga writing under an alias??? Mmmh I wonder)
As the Vice President of my own firm with very little time to answer to such tripe as your posting I would like to reply to your hogwash with FACTS, as I suggest you do in future before making such blatantly obvious campaign statements such as yours;
1. In Mexico, Kalusha managed to win promotion from 1st division to Premier division for his team Vera Cruz…..
2. Kalusha was technical director for less than 3 years, during this time he built a solid foundation (the current National Team is almost the same as his original assembly line up) and discovered youngsters, who are currently plying their trade internationally. This is not a bad record considering that many a highly paid coach, like Pareira, Eriksson and Trappatoni, went many a National coach year without any silverware either. Kalusha brought us pride and credibility, something rare in African Football.
3. The incident in France…well a reporter from “the Post”…I need not comment as in most likelihood Kalusha was well within his right to lambast the guy.
4. A class certificate is a fact. Go Google him please. Don’t put suspicions in peoples mind. Kalusha is an International brand, there is more at risk than an A certificate license. These facts are well documented. Do your research before being stupid.
5. Teddy Mulonga, as we all know is a sickly man who would do well to pass the baton onto a young dynamic leader like Kalusha. Based on his discussions and interviews I am sure that senility is creeping in. He is obnoxious, rude and opinionated for no good reason. He is neither likeable, successful or inspirational. Please Kebby, the less said about the man the better.
6. Kalusha is one of the only things us Zambians can be truly proud of. He has represented us relentlessly…how can you question if he’s allergic to Zambia? Is Mandela allergic to South Africa if he spends most of his time in Mozambique? Is George Weah allergic to Liberia cos he lives in America? And Jurgen Klinsmann? He lived in California whilst being the German National coach? Are you kidding me with this pathetic narrow minded argument? Ever heard of email? Air travel? Black berry’s and telephone? You kidding right Kebby?
7. International contacts? Do me a favour..Use your Google and tell me if any other Zambian, including KK has as many International positive articles written about him? He is in the FIFA Family, do you realise how many contacts that title brings with it?
8. His divorce? Who cares? Are you aware that Kalusha is currently engaged to one of the most respected football marketers in the World? Are you aware that not only is she very good looking but highly Intelligent….Google her too. Her Name is EMY CASALETTI.
9. Penalty…get over it!! Don’t negate all of Kalusha’s hard work for one single penalty??? You question his leadership abilities by a missed penalty. Come on Kebby…please grow up. Football is about winning and losing, you should know that.
10. High profile teams? It is a well known fact…by those in the know, and those who follow football closely, that Kalusha turned down many lucrative offers from South Africa including Orlando Pirates, Mamelodi Sundowns and in fact the Bafana Job? There is a strong rumour that the Mexicans are keen for him to return…but the fact is…why should he coach? He is a highly respected administrator in FIFA, CAF, WADA (World Anti Doping Association) and 2010 LOC…why would anyone go backwards to coaching?
I would like to close off my posting as follows; What does the FAZ Presidency have to offer Kalusha Bwalya? · Money? …………………….No, it’s a voluntary position with no remuneration. · Fame?……………………I don’t think so, you cant get much more famous than he is already through a Football Association Presidency. He is an executive member in many organisations has his own foundation in Zambia, is there any achievement he does not have? · Fortune?……..Kalusha is a successful businessman in his own right, I really do not think he needs this Presidency to make his fortune. · Happiness?………….If anything, the Presidency is going to stress him out no end…doubt happiness is a driver. · POWER? …………………what power? He is currently vice President and isrecognised the world over..do you think the Presidency will make much difference? · The only other reason left………………………is a FACT…………… the love for his country and the love of the game…As Zambians we should welcome his candidacy and accept him as a leader to be proud of and a leader we can count on. Lets give the young man a sporting chance. Do you think people at FIFA know the difference between Zambia, Gambia and Zimbabwe????I doubt it!!! I think Kalusha can make us step up to the plate and make Zambian Football be noticed on the globe once again. He has my vote that’s for sure. As the debate continues, email your views on your preferred FAZ aspiring Presidential candidate. Email to [email protected]
11. Please Kebby…over this Easter and for the love of Christ…check you facts and stop writing on behalf of Teddy Mulonga. Stop being a typical Zambian and stop pulling down one of our most successful brothers. What could possibly have made you so bitter towards one of our Countries most able representatives and most suitable Presidential candidates? Jealousy? Bitterness?

WHO HAS INTERNATIONAL CONTACTS IN FOOTBALL.
Wednesday night 26/03/08 was full of activities to football mother bodies of various countries around the globe who have influence and international contacts such as SAFA of south africa, BTA of Botswana just name a few.
While European and South America national teams were playing high profile friendly matches, Africa teams were not left out from FIFA day of friendlies. To me, those countries whose football mother bodies managed organise the friendlies have Influence, Internstional contacts in soccer as well as ability to manage soccer properly.
Yes, its a proof that one has international contacts. What do we as Zambian fans have to show that our people we support to take over FAZ administration have contacts when we can not play a friendly match on such a day like wednesday night. The International contacts claimed by Kalu’s camp is merely a big joke which should not be entertained by serious and soccer loving Fans. They have lied about KCM and Supersport deals and they are continueing lying about having International contacts without Shame! What kind of people are they?
Finally here are football results that were captured from the friendlies played today which involved African teams: South Africa 3 v Paraguay 0, Algeria 0 v Congo DR 1, Zimbabwe 1 v Botswana 0, Uganda 1 v Libya 1, Sudan 0 v Liberia 2, Egypt 0 v Argentina 2, Belgium 1 v Morocco 4, Tunisia 2 v Ivory coast 0, Ghana 1 v Mexico 2.
( Note that 2 minutes were still remaining at time of sending the results between Ghana and Mexico).
Im signing for now and God bless all the soccer fans.

I totally agree that Kalusha is NOT the BEST guy for FAZ President

Bravo Muyunda and lovely. i have been trying to EXPLAIN TO KEBBY the reasons why Kalu is going to win the presidency the day after tomorrow.
but he has chosen to attack Kalu’s personality rather than telling us why he is supporting Adams. truly speaking Kalu is the one who has explained wat he wants to do for footbal.
Kebby do not pay a blind eye deliberately to the truth you know and that is Kalu will do it. Wait and see. TIYENDE PAMODZI NDI MUTIMA UMOZI TIYENDE PAMOZI NDI KALU WATU.

The current hot issue of who takes over the runnig of football affairs at Football House has raised a lot of debate and I feel this is healthy for the development of of our beloved game as it brings out the passion the Zambians have for Football.A lot of points have been raised and it’s up to the voters to asses and choose the best for this soccer mad nation.
Having observed and analysed various contributions to this debate I feel it’s important to understand who an administrator is and the role he is expected to play.In simple terms administration is the arrangement and use of resources in form of both material and human to achieve an aim.In football administration human resources are the players, the coaches, and other supporting staff and material resources are the finances, the equipment, infrastracture etc.All these are supposed to be arranged and used by an administrator to achieve an aim.
Our aim in Zambia as regards football is to become a strong and respectable footballing nation by winnig major trophies at FIFA and CAF levels and produce world class players.
To acheive this we need people who who understand and have the heart for football. These people are supposed to be leaders because they are supposed to lead the way and enfluence the other stakeholders to come on board and help them achieve the aim.they are also expected to to provide solutions to alot of issues that have hampered our progress in football.
Having said all this my opinion is that the voters should should be fair and try to look at candidates with qualities that can help achieve our aim.It is not neccesary to list down someones failures without considering his abbilities and exclude him form the race like what Kebby wrote in his article to ZAMBIAFOOTBALL.COM.The best he could have done was to list down succeses and failures for each candidate. This way he could have helped us asses the best candidate suitable for the job because we could have known the best failure among the candidates having in mind that every active person as failed in one way or the other.I wonder how he connected the missing of a penalty to administration.
The task of choosing capable people is up to the voters on march 29 polls to do the right thing

Big Steve says….
c’mon Muyunda (or is it Kalu under a different name??) I agree with you with regards to Kebbys comment being somewhat one laned but he did have a point, Kalu has achieved very highly with regards to being a player and even as a coach but as an administrator??????? He has had the post of vice for a while and lets be fair there is not a lot of success stories we can directly attribute to him in this regard. And another thing is let us not put him on such a pedestal. Frankly speaking him becoming president will boost his profile so lets not down play him wanting the position for this reason. C’mon lets not blind ourselves here and lets bring real administrators with proven management records so we can have someone to incoporate both soccer and business as the game requires both these skills today. Kalusha should be coach and this is not a step backwards it would be him applying his strongest skills for the country he so dearly loves.

I think the argument againist KALU ha smerit than this brother who is aguing pro Kalu. What high profile Games has Kalu organised for the National team in the Last 4 years. In my opinion NONE. So what will make him do that none. Kalu is self centered and he needs this FAZ post to enhance his profile. How can we have a FAZ president staying in Another Country. Its not gonna work

Much as I say Kalusha is not the best guy, from what am reading in the papers there, it looks like he is winning.
It pains me that in Zambia its always like that, the choice is always limited.

It is a great pleasure.Despite being based here in South Africa I follow Zambian soccer because I am fanatic soccer fan for Zambia.
I was very disappointed that time Zambia lost by 5 goals to 1 against Cameroun and that is why I am backing the presidency of Kalu at Faz as I strongly feel that it will improve soccer in Zambia. He is such a very great organiser as can be seen from the way he led Zambia in 1994 and the way the current team is playing as he is the one who formed it.In my personal point of view Ivory Coast, Ghana, South Africa, Zambia , Nigeria and Mali are the greatest teams potentially now in Africa from the way they are playing and forget about Egypt and Cameroun who have got those ageing players.
I will continue to contribute to Zambian soccer through my comments. If Zambia qualifies to the 2010World cup here in South Africa I will give the whole team R2000.0 I promised and please remind me that time.
