ZAMBIA soccer team technical bench says it is too early to rule out the German-based professionals Andrew Sinkala and Moses Sichone who are yet to join the team that is camped in Spain preparing for the Ghana MTN African Cup of Nations.
Team manager, Solly Pandor, said from Sevilla Spain yesterday that Sinkala who campaigns in the second tier of the German Bundesliga at Paderborn 07, was still on medication and the technical bench was keeping its fingers crossed that he recovers fully ahead of the Ghana Africa Cup of Nations championship which kicks off in a fortnight.
On the other German-based player, Moses Sichone, Pandor declined to comment and referred querries to head coach Patrick Phiri whom he said was in constant touch with the player. Sichone sustained a bruised rib in league action for his second division side Kickers Offenbach although he has indicated readiness to turn out for the Chipolopolo at the Ghana championship. -Times of Zambia
