44 Comments on "Chamanga demolishes Stars"
Chamanga started his demolition job in the 20th minute with a simple tap in after Sandile Ndlovu failed to control a Japhet Zwane cross. The striker added his second four minutes later when he rounded Wayne Sandilands to slot the ball into an empty net after running onto a superb pass by Tsweu Mokoro and he completed his hat-trick in the 26th minute when he scored with a low shot into the far corner after receiving a pass by Ndlovu.
Stars had the ball in the back of the net in the 39th minute, but the goal was disallowed after Phumudzo Manenzhe was adjudged to have fouled Swallows’ keeper Greg Etafia.
However, the visitors made it 4-1 seconds before the break when Mchabe scored with a low shot from inside the area.
The score remained 4-1 at the break.
Stars pulled another goal back in the 51st minute when Williams scored with a low shot from outside the area.
This goal seemed to spur the visitors on as Swallows seemed to take their foot of the pedal, but Chamanga changed that in the final five minutes of the game.
First he drilled the ball into the bottom corner in the 86th minute, before he slotted the ball into an empty net after Sandilands could only parry a shot by Alton Meiring, to round off the round score.
Stars, remain on 11 points and are in danger of being overhauled by last placed Thanda Royal Zulu unless their form takes a drastic turn for the better.

Even if chamanga managed to score surprising pool of five against platnum star, patrick phiri should not make a mistake of calling him up to the squad that travels to Ghana in january. In my view, chamanga is not national team material.
